Best Dentist on the coast very caring

First off, Dr. McCabe is an excellent dentist. His staff not so much. Let me share my experience with you. I went in for a simple extraction of two teeth, not a bid deal as he had pulled 10 teeth for me in the last two months. I have never had a problem, he was always nice, staff not so much. Every time I have had an extraction I have gotten anti-biotics and a small amount of pain medication. The last extraction was on a Friday. On the way out, I asked for anti-biotics and pain medication, Because this is my fourth visit for extractions and that seems to be the norm. The purple haired nurse told me in my way out that they don’t give anti-biotics or pain killers for extractions and haven’t for years..... ok then. I left for the sake of looking like an addict. I already carry a bit of a stigma around with my tattoos. Well, come Monday I have no relief, my mouth is killing me. I call in and they say come back we will look at it. Great, so I do (because by this point, I’m in tears). Not sure if you have had a dry socket, but it’s the worst thing ever! So, I go in. Dr. McCabe says it looks "textbook" perfect for an extraction. He prescribed me anti-biotics and pain meds. Two days later still no relief, mouth hurts worse than ever so I call back and tell them I am having another problem, they ask me if I want them to call me in pain meds or come in. I said I wanted to come in, pain meds don’t cure the problem. So, I go to my appointment two days later only to be left sitting in the exam room for an hour with not one person coming and saying anything g to me. At this point, I’m in pain, I’m upset, and I’m judged by a bunch of community college grads, maybe.....so, I left. I went to another dr. Immediately after I left there and got my dry socket packed properly and now it is healing nicely thanks to dr. Liberto. He even did the work for free, my mouth was so messed up. I hope none of you have to experience this. Like I said. Dr. McCabe is great, it’s the red lipstick vipers that made my experience umbearable. This is my experience at dr. McCabes.
