Multnomah County Health Clinic

This clinic is a disgrace to healthcare. I was a new patient here, and the way I was treated was beyond disrespectful it was humiliating, cruel, and clearly racist. The nurses are some of the most unprofessional people I have ever encountered. They laughed at me, turned the lights on and off in my room on purpose, and made jokes while I was left waiting alone. They treated me like I didn’t matter, even though I was there struggling with serious health concerns. The doctor was no better. She left me sitting in the room for a long time without explanation, then brushed me off with excuses. On another visit, she kept me waiting 45 minutes past my appointment, spent barely two minutes with me, and left again saying she had "more important things to do." Later, I saw her laughing with the same nurses who mocked me. This place does not care about patients, especially immigrants and people who do not speak English well. They humiliate you, they ignore your health needs, and they treat you as if your life is not important. Shame on every staff member who behaves this way this is not healthcare, it’s abuse.

We were truly impressed with the dental assistant Tatyana's attitude and professionalism during our recent visit. She was exceptionally polite and took the time to explain everything in a clear and simple way, making it easy for our teen to understand how to take better care of their dental health. Through relatable examples and a calm, friendly manner, she helped highlight everyday mistakes in a way that was both informative and encouraging. Tatyana’s dedication and genuine sympathy for her work and her patients were clear from the start. It’s rare to meet someone so passionate and kind in their approach. We sincerely appreciate her effort and highly recommend her to anyone looking for thoughtful, knowledgeable care.

Have have no words. Going to this clinic for urgent dental care has been such an absolute nightmare. I have nothing but regret at this point. Dealing with this dental office has completely destroyed my entire term for college and they could really care less. They’d rather treat me like a junkie and judge/shame me while wasting my time.

This is by far the worst dental clinic that I have been to. I have been seeing Dr. Bell, for some dental work. First of all my initial consult, they never went over with me the work that I needed to get done. They just sent me back out to the front office to schedule and so I did, not knowing what I was scheduling for. I have then had 3 appointments with Dr. Bell and he hasn’t gone over with me any of the next steps for our next appointments. I have had 2 fillings with him and they are the worst fillings I’ve ever had, he leaves them feeling rough and gritty and so when I run my tongue across my tooth it feels like it could scratch my tongue. And you can see the grey part of the filling on my tooth when I smile, I have NEVER had this issue before. I just left a "dental cleaning" I don’t know the name of the hygienist who "cleaned" my teeth but she said we need to schedule another cleaning because she "didn’t have time to finish" WHAT?? Does this office think because the majority of people have Oregon health plan, that they can take advantage of our time? I won’t be coming back to this office. I am EXTREMELY disappointed.

I have been going to this certain clinic for most of my life. Before it was certainly a very great place for both adults and kids. Very good and experienced people back in 2015 and before, but as of late. It has for sure dropped in quality. The receptionist are incredibly rude and sassy, at times also incompetent. They're still some decent ones but it's very obvious that keeping a friendly attitude twords patients isn't part of what they're paid. Many times over has an appointment been canceled or rescheduled and no phone call, text, email has been sent notifying about it. Information was checked to make sure it was correct and the problem pursued. Some of the dentist are also lazy and seem to not know what they're doing. With many times leaving worse then I came in, fillings being incomplete, tooth aches pursuing months almost years after with more appointments being made, and being told everything was fine when a simple glance was taken, I've been able to push these until today. With the recent winter storm happening at the moment, I had an appointment scheduled today, we called to make sure it was still available. And we were hung up on. We go to the clinic to check in person. But there is a notice stating closed from 22-26 no notice, no phone call, nothing. I'm reaching my limit as to what this place has done and is continuing to do and hope it can better itself

My family & I have been coming to East County for a few years. We take fairly good care of our teeth. My experiences have always been pleasant. The staff is caring and they have a structured system for appointments. We are blessed to have this dental coverage. I appreciate it.

Terrible service from the beginning. I’m pregnant and they told me they were going to get my teeth figured out over the course of a couple of months. Each time I went in for an appointment Dr. Bell filled one tooth per visit focusing on teeth with superficial cavities when all along I had an existing filing that was falling out. He said he would handle it next time. Appointments are few and far between. By the time I got in to have this loose filling looked at it needed pulled. The tooth in front of it was filled at the same time in the past making the teeth and filling fused. Now I’m back with the tooth needing to be filled and it also has significant decay. I’m in the last days of my 2nd trimester and there are no appointments. This is the absolute worst dental office in the world all 3 dentists I have seen here are ultimately useless. Staring with Dr. Bell! Hopefully he reads this a retires!
