LaMarr LeMee Dental

I don’t know where to begin. I had my first visit at LaMarr LeMee Dental office on Tuesday,7/22 urgently and returned again on 7/25. They are absolutely the best in care, professional and efficiency. They made me feel at ease and in the best of hands. Both, Carla and Dr. LaMarr are top notch professionals. My only wish is that I had found them 30 years ago.. I read the reviews prior to choosing to make my appointment, which were all positive and they absolutely did not disappoint.

I became a patient in 2019 when I was in dire need of a root canal, having held off way too long to have the procedure done and having avoided seeing a dentist for several years up till then. At the time I was still insured and the procedure was efficient and effective, without causing any issues since. After losing my insurance and still seeing them for regular biannual appointments, they kept out-of-pocket costs reasonable for cleanings, X-rays, and fillings. Dr. LaMarr was a very helpful receptionist, while Dr. LeMee was by far the most compassionate dentist I've ever had. He always made sure I was comfortable while performing any procedure, so I never dreaded my visits. Couple this great team with an environment that felt far from a typical clinical setting, and it made for a consistently happy patient. If you're in need of a great practice that always makes you feel welcome with minimal discomfort and good results, I definitely recommend them.

I've been to dentists on three different continents, and I'm not that young and impressionable, but I have to admit to have never before experienced so much time and gentle care lavished upon my humble dental needs. It's an old fashioned small office in an old fashioned building in the middle of Evanston, but it has things I've never seen or heard of in all the gleaming modern dental offices I've seen so far, like using a mouth scanner to get a 3D impression of your crown instead of dental trays with putty hardening on your jaws. I think Dr. LeMee spent a good 1.5 hour attending to my future crown and its temporary replacement. Highly recommended.

I will mourn the day I move away from Evanston and no longer have Dr. LeMee as my dentist! He is the best I have visited. I used to have anxiety over dental work from past experiences but his easy going humor, warm personality and experience are enough to set anyone at ease. Carla is extremely helpful and personable too, and adds just as much to the atmosphere as Dr. LeMee. I went here for the first time to get a custom night guard and didn't have insurance, and they gave me a very generous discount to accommodate me. I've had no issues and have referred friends here, I am so confident they'll have a good experience. Highly recommend!!

I had my first appointment here this morning. My first dentist visit in over 18 months. A full cleaning and a full set of X-rays. Dr. LeMee's work is as gentle and easy as anyone I've ever seen. I hardly felt anything. Admin matters were handled quickly and easily. I'm going back soon to have a small filling replaced, and look forward to visiting every 6 months going forward. Highly recommended!

My wife and I went to Dr. LeMee for cleanings and exams. The exams were the most thorough we've experienced in all our years of receiving dental services. An added plus was he does cleanings himself. He is gentle and comprehensive when doing a cleaning. I also had a broken filling and a small cavity. I barely felt the needle for the Novocaine and was throughly numbed for the drilling. Our only regret was that we were visiting Evanston for just a few months. We wish Dr. LeMee could be our dentist all of the time.

My new dentist, referred by a family member. Cleanings are thorough and I pay out of pocket so its affordable. Just had a filling done and that went smooth. Drs. LaMarr and LeMee are compassionate and caring.
