My partner just left this office in tears as Dr. Martini decided that we and his office manager were wasting his time by … verifying insurance information before an emergency dental appointment? Although both ladies who tried to help us were kind, they are also clearly used to being verbally torn down by this impatient, unkind, and sardonic man. We were referred here by a mental health care provider who understood my partner struggled with dental anxiety and making this emergency appointment was not easy. However, for whatever reason our experience was completely different and in my opinion, unacceptable. Don’t go into a field where you’re required to care for all different kinds of people if you don’t actually care about people.

We walked in for our appointment and immediately had to watch Dr. Martini treating his staff with so much disrespect. He spoke to them rudely while they were the only ones to help us. We ran into some insurance issues and he was very unhelpful and condescending. I literally couldn’t believe how bad of an attitude he had. I have severe dental anxiety and was so afraid to come in today and dentists like him are exactly the reason people are scared to go to the dentist. Both me and my partner were in tears by the time we left and we cancelled our appointment because of his complete lack of professionalism and compassion. I was referred here but this was truly the worst dental office experience of my life.

Dr. Martini is the Dude, or his Dudeness, or el Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing. A great dentist who explains your dental situation in a clear and concise manner. A great hygienist who has skillz. No slips of the hand. High speed H2O cleans your teeth and not your gums, if you know what I mean. I could go on but I think I've made my point.

I had a terrific experience at the Evanston Dental Center. Dr Martini was very professional and through, and gave me good advice not only about the immediate needs of my teeth, but also things i need to think about in the next 10 years! He was on time and his staff were friendly professional. The location is terrific, in the heart of downtown Evanston, but only 2 blocks from free street parking. This was the best dental experience i have had in a long time.

Went to the ER around noon. Got in almost right away, but had to wait until 3:30 to get the extraction. The whole thing lasted five minutes. As it turns out, this is their policy: "For the minor extraction of teeth and minor oral surgery take one or two Tylenol or Advil every three hours." So if you think you're getting any kind of pain medication, that's not what they do. The pain is excruciating.

My wife and I have been patients for four years. His work is excellent. He permanently fixed a problem where other dentists' solutions didn't last. He has done several crowns. We don't have insurance so we appreciate his reasonable rates. Their team makes the experience a good one. Highly recommended.
