Expensive but I feel it's worth it. Very good care. Hygienist a little rough last visit, but still would recommend. While you SHOULDN'T put off dental care, I'd recommend saving up and getting it done right, rather than Aspen dental.

New to the area and wanted to transfer dental care to an office here that was also covered by my insurance. My initial visit was a comprehensive exam and cleaning. The cleaning was unenjoyable as the hygienist Carmen was very rough and I left with sore gums. I have very healthy teeth and gums and this was the worst experience I have had for a cleaning. The comprehensive visit was aimed on one chipped tooth and snapping several pictures to charge me for a future repair I’m sure. After a couple visits with Dr Tom Machgan, I quickly realized this guy cares about one thing: himself, and money. His wife (who also works in the office) was nice, but he boasts about himself during the whole visit and brags about his lavish life. I was charged $545 for a filling repair that would have been covered by insurance if his office offered minimal transparency to policy coverage. To my dismay, my policy was 1 month short of covering this filling that wasn’t even necessary to be fixed at the time- per Dr Tom’s words. When disputing my bill with Denette over the phone, she said, "We give an estimate as a courtesy, it’s not our responsibility to know EVERY patient’s policy." While I can’t argue that this was a learning experience for me, I can say that the lack of empathy and service recovery will result in them losing a good patient and "customer." Immediately after attempting to mediate this situation, I was returned a phone call and was told in 3 business days they would call me and reach out with a potential discount. It has now been 7 business days and I haven’t heard a word. I was willing to deal with the conceded doctor but now I’ll take my chances at another and be sure to go by word of mouth other than lousy google reviews. Overall experience: 0/10, do not recommend.
