My wife & I have both loved our experiences at the smile shop. The office looks great and well kept. Jen at the front desk, has been warm & kind to us. Janelle was my hygienist, and she was definitely experienced, really good, and gentle during my cleaning. Dr. Toussaint was amazing! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and took her time explaining things, which I really appreciate and respect. I can tell she really cares about her patients and is very thorough. Definitely recommend her if you're looking for a dentist in the area.

This place is truly the best dental practice in Durham! I recently came in for my first visit after looking for a new dentist and felt at ease as soon as I walked in. I got to experience firsthand the passion, dedication, and meticulous care that my dentist, Dr. Toussaint, put into her work. She was patient, thorough and gentle in every part of the visit. The staff was fantastic and made me feel at ease. If you need a new dental home that treats you like family, this is the place!

What started out as a simple cleaning turned into a cavity and filling repair — but Dr. Daphne Toussaint was absolutely amazing! She’s gracious, gentle, and super professional. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time — even the Novocaine shot was barely noticeable! You are a real jewel!! Thank you so much!! As one of many people that gets anxious about the dentist, I can't say enough good things about my experience at The Smile Shop. The women at the front desk were kind and helpful. My hygienist, Anya, was encouraging and so gentle. Her room truly felt like a spa. And Dr. Spriggs was personable with very calming energy. I came in nervous but left feeling empowered! Thank you so much.

While visiting from out of state, I happened to knock out my front tooth out. I was able to get a same day appointment and the staff was terrific. From the front office staff,to the dental assistant, to the dentist , Dr Touissant. I was examined, presented with options and felt very comfortable Very much appreciated

From the time you enter the facility you have a sense of warmth and welcoming. Once I let Christy know I was traveling from out of town and have a dental emergency, she immediately went about seeing if I could be accommodated. Although my HMO did not support treatment at this facility, that did not deter her from getting me service. She explained that they could do an X-RAY and exam and go from there. As soon as someone became available I was brought in where Anya completed the X-Ray and then I was quickly seen by DR. Toussaint who explained what my issue was. My biggest surprise came at the end when my bill was not much more than a dinner for two at a nice restaurant. Thanks to all mentioned in this post and I can definitely recommend this practice as top notch.
