Dr. Lyle is an incredible dentist. He takes the time to listen to my concerns, and never made me feel rushed. He has a great sense of humor that makes you feel at ease. Highly recommend the team at East Side Dental!

Love Dr Lyle and his staff! They do amazing with kids and adults. My kids get excited to see him and his assistants each time! Plus they have cool little prizes for the kids! Definitely recommend. Dr Lyle is also very informative about dental care and advice!

Dr. Thomas Lyle was my dentist and I absolutely loved him and the staff back then. When he passed unexpectedly, I was hesitant to see his son, since he was so young, but to my surprise, he's even better! Dr. David Lyle does an amazing job and is professional and a perfectionist. During the past few years I've grown to love the office staff and nurses even more.

I’ve been going to East Des Moines Dental for quite a few years and have never had problems. They are attentive to their work and staff is friendly. But there is room for a lot of improvement. Their ability to answer phone calls and or to reach out to their patients for billing is exceptionally low. Recently I was served with papers at my residence for an over-due bill from 4 years ago. I have been going to this dentist for over 10 years. They have all my contact information including my phone number, email, home address and my mothers phone number and email, yet out of the 4 years that this bill was due, neither one of us were reached out to or notified of this issue. Due to them choosing to reach out to an attorney instead of me I had to pay my over-due bill and a $100 attorney fee. I’ve always been on top of bills and whatever fees I have due so this situation could’ve gone so much better for myself and them. But I had to learn that unfortunately East Des Moines Dental does NOT care for their patients they are treating for and are only caring for what money they can get out of people. Just a warning for first time patients and or patients who have been loyal for many years, they WILL NOT have you back on financial terms.

Dr. Lyle and all of his team has been amazing the last few weeks. I have severe anxiety especially at the dentist and they make sure I am good and make sure I know exactly what they are doing the whole time. I appreciate them and I’m thankful for them to get my smile back to where I can be confident again!!!

I used to see dr lyle in the old building as a teenager. I moved away and over the years my dental health has deteriorated due to medical issues. My last dentist royally messed up my teeth (ankeny smiles). I've been back to east des moines dental for 2 appointments in the last couple months, terrified after having bad experiences elsewhere. Let me tell you, dr lyle was so great, I didn't even hardly feel the needle to numb today. Everywhere else I've been it hurt so bad! I was incredibly nervous but after today I know I don't need to be. On top of that, the staff has been nothing but great to me thus far. I had a couple fairly large fillings done today and they look absolutely gorgeous! My only complaint was in the beginning, trying to get ahold of them to get an initial appointment, I could never get an answer. But im glad I finally got through and got started on my road to better dental health. I think I've finally found a great dentist with a great staff!

Dr Thomas Lyle was a great dentist when I was a child and a younger adult his son Dr David Lyle is my dentist now and is great dentist and has been good to me just like his father it is much appreciated thanks to both and staff I believe Dr Thomas Lyle was good man who actually cared about his patients and practice and staff I believe Dr David is the same and will be going there as long as he is the Dr thank you doc for keeping it going means alot
