Scheduling was easy, hygienist Terry was very thorough and Anna took x-rays like a pro. The doctor was professional, kind and knowledgeable. Lovely office, good location, accepted my insurance and also offers an in house insurance plan if you don’t have private coverage. This practice has local support for emergency care, oral surgeons and endodontists.

As someone who gets anxious about going to the dentist, it was such a relief to walk into such a friendly and welcoming environment! Everyone there is incredibly kind and non-judgmental. I didn't feel like a customer being marketed to, and it’s clear they treat every patient with the same care and compassion.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Very happy with the work that I got done . I’m actually afraid of the dentist due to past traumatic experiences but during this visit at Tamarac I was actually able to relax and even fall asleep during my treatment! Everyone is so sweet, patient, and helpful. The environment is very clean and peaceful.

I had a scheduled appointment for a cleaning. When I arrived I provided my information for insurance. They were unable to locate this. I was told I would be billed out of pocket. I accepted this since I was already at the office. I was then told that they would not honor my appointment and would need to cancel because I would need to be billed without insurance. They cancelled my appointment anyway and I was still charged a $50 late cancellation fee.

I had a sick child at home on a Monday and early appointment at 9 am and tried to call early, but the office was closed until 9 AM so I left a voicemail before the appointment. The receptionist called 10 mins after I was scheduled asking me where I was and I explained I had a sick child and no daycare so was unable to come in and that I had left a voicemail earlier to let them know I wanted to reschedule. She immediately was like okay well I’ll send over the late cancellation fee to you. Didn’t offer any "hope you feel better" and tried to get me to reschedule to later that day after I had just said I didn’t have child care and had a sick child. I will not be back now or reschedule an appointment since they can’t understand a working mom having to sometimes cancel last minute because things come up.

Tamarac Dental Care has treated me like family for 5 years since moving here. They have never tried to upsell me on any procedures/services that are not necessary. They are honest and easy to work with. Dr. Carlin is truly exceptional in her field and I am truly thankful to have found this place.

Terry was a wonderful, careful and thorough hygienist. She told me everything that was going to happen and didn’t hurt me. The dentist checked in and was also very nice and approachable! Really clean and pleasant office too.
