My experience with NorthStar Dental has been exceptional! I recently had an unexpected dental emergency and was able to book a same-day consultation. The staff was welcoming and attentive; they took extra care to avoid sensitive areas when taking X-rays. Dr. Curtis listened to (and prioritized) my concerns when deciding on a treatment plan. I went in for a follow-up 3 days later and the issue was fully resolved. I particularly appreciate that my appointment wasn’t rushed. The entire team made sure I was well-informed and comfortable throughout the procedure. I would recommend NorthStar Dental of Danbury to my friends and family without hesitation.

UPDATE: Dr. Curtis made it right. Thank you for doing the right thing. -Pierre Always had great experiences there up until today. Without getting too much into detail I needed a crown and subsequently needed to go back 3-5 times just to get it right - error after error. Each time I exhibited patience and returned for them to fix the issue. Then in December I had to go back with another issue only to find the tooth next to it now had a cavity to which the dentist attributed to the crown and the old filling of the cracked tooth collaboratively creating the issue. I got the work done and had the cavity filled. Not charged for the work as it should have been covered. Fast forward to today. I went to bring my son for his appointment and wanted to pay up front. They informed me of the price and that I had an unpaid balance. You can guess what the unpaid balance was for - the tooth the dentist filled after 3-5 other visits for his shoddy work. I had a brief conversation with him to which he chalked it up as ‘miscommunication’ and that I needed to pay. At that point it wasn’t worth arguing further about $100, I paid it. Not because I owed it, but because he must need it more than I do. Sad way to end a relationship with a customer that has gone to that establishment for years with his son.

Everyone was SO personable, educational and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Seems like such a positive environment. This was my first time here since my last dentist stopped taking my insurance. Not to mention there was some confusion w my new insurance and the receptionist was super proactive in figuring out the issue so that they could get me in as soon as possible. I was able to schedule an appt within 3 days of calling. Recommended NorthStar to my mom 🙂

Since moving to CT I figured it would be hard locating a dentist . I found Northstar & I haven’t needed to search anywhere else. Everyone is so kind and accommodating. When I have emergencies I am seen right away. I never have long waits for any of my schedule appointments. They are all punctual and professional.
