Chestnut Square Dental

I broke a tooth today that had an old filling. I called and 2 hours later was in the dentist chair getting it fixed. I LOVE THE PEOPLE at this dental office...they are kind, understanding and really good at their jobs!!! All my life I have hated going to the dentist but now that I have found these wonderful folks, I don't mind at all!

After 31 years, I’ve had my last visit with Dr. Renfer before he retires. He will be missed, by far the best dentist I’ve ever had … he had a way with giving the numbing shots that you never felt it, always is sensitive to whether there is any pain associated with the procedure. Assistants that work with are always good, I think the brings the best out of them. I will probably continue to got to the same office moving forward, but I’m fairly sure it won’t be the same, too big of shoes to fill, he was the heart /soul of that office.

In any clinic, a patient’s name shall always be verified prior to any procedure. However in my case, without confirming my identity, they inserted a dental guard that was not fitted for me and kept on pressing as if it was for me. The pressure was so uncomfortable that I became genuinely worried about possibly damaging or breaking my teeth. When i voiced why is this guard being tried on me, they realized their mistaken and just said "sorry." It is immensely concerning how they're operating like this and I will report this to licensing as I'm not certain the appropriate legal bodies will see this.

The dentist here is phenomenal, kind, skilled, and attentive. The hygienist is also very friendly and efficient. However, the administrative staff is a bit incompetent. My husband and I have experienced repeated scheduling issues, such as being double-booked or not being informed when the dentist was unavailable. This has led to unnecessary trips, including showing up at 8 a.m. only to find out the appointment had been canceled without notice. A bit more attention to communication and scheduling would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

So far this place is amazing. I’m just in the beginning of my journey but so far I love this place

I had an urgent problem with one of my teeth and it needed to be seen to immediately. Dr. Renfer was able to get an appointment for me with an Oral Surgeon that same afternoon. I am very grateful for his care.

I highly recommend Dr. Raisa to anyone looking for a dentist who combines skill, compassion, and a genuine passion for her patients’ smiles! Mary & Lisa were also very welcoming and friendly.
