Dr. Erik Feinauer - Detroit Tooth Consultants

I think the Cleaning folks and the two Dr's are great! My issue is with their staff (particularly the ones answering the phone). I had an appt on Nov4 for a cleaning and i was to get work done on Dec 1st following that appt (Now canceled), because their staff still can't tell me the cost based on the insurance folks getting back to them. But know this, I've had to call every time to see if the insurance has been notified. One month later and i still have nothing scheduled. I just received a call from his Staff Member (Laura). She indicated she was going to contact the BCBS folks and see what the hold up is. The conversation with Dr Feinauer is not going to happen because he doesn't deal with insurances. I wasn't calling him to discussed insurance, I was calling to discuss his staff and lack of communication. Thank you.

I have gone thru extensive tooth replacement that's taken quite a long time. Dr Feinauer has been excellent every step of the way. I would recommend him hands down over anyone. His complete understanding of your feelings going thru this process is by far Top of his mind. Thank you very much. Dean Stanton

I have been a patient of Dr. Feinauer's and his staff now for a little over 5 years and couldn't see myself visiting another practice. Everyone from the front office staff, the hygienists, and the Dr staff are all extremely welcoming, polite, and knowledgeable. I never feel like "just another patient" even though I only see the staff every 6 months. I highly recommend Dr. Feinauer and his staff. I even drive all the way from Birmingham since he is the best in the area! Plus, the new renovations in the office make me feel comfortable that the practice stays up to date with equipment and ready for my dental needs.

I cannot say enough good things about this office. Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable. I have had VERY bad experiences with dentists when I was young so I always had extremely high anxiety when I would go, but this office is the ONLY place where I feel comfortable. I have never had one bad experience. I highly recommend this place if you are someone like me who doesn't like going because they will make you feel as comfortable as possible. I like about 45 minutes away but it is worth the drive.

Dr. Feinauer and his team are exceptional at making you comfortable and giving you unparalleled dental care. I recommend them to anyone in the area that is in need of a dentist. They're very accommodating and have helped me and my wife on more than one emergency occasion.

Dr. Feinauer is an amazing Dentist, very personal and honest. Made me feel comfortable and like family at first visit. Receptionists are extremely helpfuly with explaining my insurance plan and how I was covered. Office is excellently decorated and updated. Lifetime patient now!!!

I have been going to see Dr. Erik Feinauer ever since he graduated from the University of Michigan dental school and was working in Highland, Michigan. When he left that practice to start his own, I had no reservations about following him to continue to be one of his patients. While the drive is much further from his own practice, his professionalism and the warmth of his staff keep me coming back for my dentistry needs. Just recently I needed to have my first root canal. He assured me that it would be far less painful and intimidating than everyone makes them out to be. After some local anesthetic and then a shot of novocaine or whatever they use to numb the nerve, I felt absolutely no pain whatsoever. 3/4 of the way through the procedure, I asked him when the painful part was going to occur and he told me he was basically finished. 15 minutes later, I was out the door. I have never been so satisfied with a trip to the dentist where I was initially so nervous and anxious. I was told that there may be some sensitivity and soreness, but that never occurred. Dr. Feinauer even called me personally the next day to ask how I was feeling. I would highly recommend going to see Dr. Feinauer for any of your dental needs.
