Cleveland Dental Institute - Shaker Blvd

Scheduled for 4/20 to have my Wisdom teeth extracted and they rescheduled to 5/12 without contacting me. I am not only furious because I've been waiting long- and have planned for the surgery to be in 6 days! They are unprofessional, the call center doesn't know ANYTHING about medical terminology. I was trying to request a PA for Nitrous Oxide be sent(the call center didn't even know what it is). You will be thrown for a loop over and over again on the phone with the same unhelpful people. No regard for people's lives or needs. Update: They got me in 4/27, and then I called again to learn it was pushed back again to 5/29 since the appointments on the 12th filled up and the 27th they scheduled me without a surgeon in office. DO NOT GO HERE !!!! Wouldn't even bring myself here if all my teeth shattered. Place is a joke. Will be getting another course of antibiotic treatment for wisdom tooth infection thanks to the inability for this establishment to properly coordinate scheduling. AVOID AT EVERY COST! If you are in need of care and are on medicaid- MetroHealth has oral surgeons.

I scheduled my appointment a week in advance and arrived promptly at 4:30 pm, the time I was given. When I got there, the door was locked, no staff were present, and no one contacted me with any updates or cancellations. The experience was extremely unprofessional and disorganized. I will not be returning, nor will I recommend this place to anyone.

I drove 1hr 27mins away & I was dealt with by rude receptionist. i had my appointment planned for a month now I called consistently, 4 times total to confirm i can receive the care I needed.. the time for the appointment comes and I get to my appointment.. & I am told i cannot receive the care. when i entered the facility i was NOT greeted with hello or how can i help you. i was directed after i said hello, Goodmorning to give my last name. the man after me walks in and he receives a yellow how are you and why he came today. very uninterested in getting me checked in. and very uninterested in trying to help me find the care i need. 0/10 For someone to drive this far with her child, i was very disappointed and very insulted that i wasn’t welcomed to a new facility for me and my children. As i am typing a Mother and her child come in smiling ear to ear as i previously entered the facility and once again they were greeted exceptionally personal.

Dr. Kallaf Mustafa was great! I came in experiencing a lot pain. Today the pain is completely gone. Thank you CDI SHAKER for taking care of me.

WARNING: This is a residency program. Went to get wisdom tooth (tooth, not teeth) removed. In the process of the surgeon trying to figure out how the nitrous oxide tank works, and fumbling around with tools, the head surgeon enters the room, explaining how to perform the surgery. This was extremely discomforting for the patient receiving the surgery, we were not informed of the situation, that this was a residency program, until after gas and anesthetics were administered, and we left. If you are okay with being trained on, insist that they inform you if it is a student or a fully trained surgeon.

My son received a gingivectomy. The staff were very patient and accommodating. The results are very nice!👍

Dr. Nora at Cleveland Dental Institute is an incredibly patient and thorough dentist. She took the time to explain everything about my teeth and answered all of my questions with great care. During my visit, she also recommended services I wasn’t aware of, like teeth whitening and custom trays, which are offered at the facility. I’ve been a patient for a while, and I had no idea these services were available! The front desk staff is also friendly, knowledgeable, and very welcoming.
