Making the decision to do an oral tie release can be hard and scary. However, I felt like the entire team here communicated everything so clearly, was very transparent, and supported us throughout the entire process. I will tell you that the first few days to week after are hard- the stretches make baby cry and we had 2 days of inconsolable crying. We decided to use Tylenol for pain management and that helped a ton. While it was hard in the short term to manage the discomfort after, my husband still tells me it’s the best thing we ever did for our son (now 13 months, tie revision at 10 weeks). It resolved his colic and improved his latch A TON! So glad we made the decision we did with the team we did.

Dr. Kennedy and staff were very knowledgeable and professional while still being personable. Any tie release procedure is nerve wracking for a parent and I appreciate the time Dr. Kennedy and staff spent ensuring I was making an informed decision about my child’s care. I didn’t feel pressured to have the procedure performed and I really love that Dr. Kennedy acknowledges other treatment options like myotherapy. I love that he encouraged other treatment providers to be involved in my child’s aftercare to ensure my child has the best outcome. I’ve far too often come across doctors that respond with it’s my way or the highway and I am so thankful Dr. Kennedy recognizes the importance of other service providers in the overall treatment plan in certain situations. Dr. Kennedy seems very skilled in oral tie releases and I would highly recommend him to any other families in the difficult position of dealing with oral ties.

Had such a great experience getting our 7-week olds tongue and lip tie released with this office. They were so welcoming and professional. Dr. Kennedy is very thorough and explained everything we needed to know. We were in and out within the hour and the actual procedure was very quick & my baby was happy for that. Would highly recommend this office to anyone with the same issue!

My 1 year old daughter just had her very first regular dentist visit today. We have trusted Dr Kennedy and Spring Creek with our daughter’s oral care since she was just 8 weeks old and had tongue and lip tie revisions at the Tongue Tie Center. My daughter had poor weight gain and we were supplementing with bottles of formula prior to the revision and now we have made it 1 year still breastfeeding with amazing weight gain! We never would’ve made it here without Dr Kennedy’s great work, and that’s why we wanted to start her early with her twice yearly dental visits. I love the energy at the facility; everyone seems genuinely enthusiastic about the care that they provide. Today she had her teeth brushed by a very patient hygienist and Dr Kennedy applied a fluoride treatment. When we left they gave us a goodie bag and a developmentally appropriate toy for my daughter. I will continue to book all of her appointments here and recommend them to anyone!!

I figured my daughter had a tongue or lip tie when she was about 2 months old and wasn’t gaining weight like she should (along with a few other symptoms). I had been breast feeding since she was born and wanted to continue doing so. I learned that pediatricians are often not trained in diagnosing oral ties and that’s when a friend recommended Dr. Kennedy. I took her the day after her 2 month check up. Dr. Kennedy and his staff were amazing. They listened to my concerns, empathized, and made me feel heard. I opted to have her ties released that day and it changed everything. Within two weeks she’d gained almost two pounds and was happier than ever, so was I! About a month later I noticed a couple of her symptoms had returned, very mildly. (No one’s fault, it happens). I made her a recheck appointment and her tongue had to be released one more time. (They offer one year of coverage in case this happens even though it’s very rare) again he was amazing and so is his assistant! She was so sweet every time! I did not feel pressured into doing it again but I did feel supported in my decision. Over all I 10/10 recommend Clarksville tongue tie clinic. I’m so grateful to be able to breast feed my daughter pain free and her be able to gain weight like she’s supposed to! I’ll never be able to thank them enough- a scared first time mom!

Dr. Kennedy took great care of my newborn with feeding issues. They were able to resolve both his tongue and lip tie concerns and he was eating better within 24 hours. Great staff and overall great experience!
