Hey everyone we are back! We have been searching for the right orthodontist to perform this very sensitive extraction of five teeth for Ricky! Also we needed someone who understand how clients with autism are a delicate situation. Dr. Nash and her team went above and beyond to make sure Ricky was comfortable and understood the procedure. I went to The Dental Standard for the first time this week, and I was very impressed by the practice. I was told by another dentist that I absolutely needed a root canal right away, but I wasn’t in pain so I wanted to get a second opinion. The manager was so nice and helpful on the phone and arranged for me to be seen the next morning by Dr. Vlad. When you come in you notice the place is decorated very nicely and looks professional. Both Dr. Vlad and his dental assistant made me feel very comfortable and I felt listened to as a patient. Although I usually get anxious from dental procedures, I really was as comfortable as I could have been under their care. It’s clear that Dr. Vlad stays on top of the research and knows his stuff. I felt confident in his work while he performed a pulp capping instead of rushing me to get a root canal right away. Everything he did was explained well. Great experience overall and I would definitely recommend this practice, and will definitely be coming back!

Got some botox from Dr. Vlad and I love the honesty! He didn't oversell me and treated me as needed. He's passionate about getting it right. The studio is gorgeous and clean. I am going back for dental,too! Shout out to Ria, she's the best!

Very nice and comfortable office with very modern equipment. Front staff very kind and helpful, dental assistant, Mary, was great providing an explanation of the steps for the appointment and making me comfortable. Dr. Marissa was very relaxed and friendly, provided explanations of each step as she did the exam and cleaning. The summary along with all of the pictures taken during the exam was the most clear and interesting of any dental appointment I’ve had. Dr. Marissa also gave a great recommendation and plan for the additional work I’ll need done. I also really appreciated that she didn’t try to upsell me on work I could have done, something many dentists do to simply bill more. Highly recommend.

I’ve been a patient here for almost two years now and always leave happy. Just had forehead Botox and gummy smile reduction done and the results were perfect. Dr. Vlad is very thorough, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about what he’s doing.

I cannot recommend Dr. Marisa highly enough as someone who is truly an exceptional dentist, but an even better person. Her standard of dental care is truly excellent. From the moment you walk into the office, it’s clear that patient comfort, safety, and quality are the top priorities. The practice maintains impeccable cleanliness, uses modern equipment, and follows best-practice procedures that immediately put you at ease and makes you feel like home. What truly sets Marisa apart, though, is her skill and compassion. She has an incredible ability to explain procedures in a clear, reassuring way, and she takes the time to make sure you feel comfortable and informed at every step, especially when getting to know you more and more. As someone who comes from Wisconsin and now lives in Chicago, it’s taken me a very long time to find a dentist I truly don’t hate going to (lol I’never liked the dentist in general) and that’s close by where I don’t have to commute home. It’s to my huge surprise that Dr. Marisa had made going to the dentist something I look forward to every 6 months. I genuinely love going to see her and the staff because it feels like a little bit of home away from home. It’s rare to find a dentist who is both this talented and this genuinely caring, and I’m grateful to have found her.

Dr. Vlad is so real amazing and Down to earth and very knowledgeable on everything that he does. He makes you feel very comfortable and not pushy and not an over seller!! Rhea is amazing along with the rest of the staff. I was extremely happy and looking forward to having a great team for all my treatments. I Highly recommend Dr Vlad & his team.
