I had an amazing experience with Dr. Ezra Sonderling and couldn’t be more grateful for the level of care I received. I needed two root canals, and I had my first visit with him after completing one. I went in hoping we could take a more conservative approach instead of going straight to crowns, and he reassured me that onlays were absolutely possible, explaining how they would preserve more of my natural tooth structure. He advised me to come back after my second root canal since that needed to be handled first. What really stood out to me was how involved he was in my care. He even called my endodontist and gave specific instructions on how to approach my root canal. The treatment turned out so well that when I came back, he told me I didn’t even need an onlay for that tooth, just a composite filling! That level of precision and intention really impressed me. I just had my second visit where he thoroughly cleaned the root-canaled teeth and properly sealed them. He was extremely thorough throughout the entire process, and I genuinely felt like I was in great hands the whole time. Also want to give a shoutout to his assistant Lucas, who was kind, attentive, and made the experience even more comfortable. Safe to say I’ve found my new dentist. Highly recommend!

Having had very unpleasant experiences with dentists, I decided to give this practice a try and went for a food trap issue that my previous dentist was unable to identify the reason for. Dr. sonderling identified the issue within 5 minutes and provided pictures of my teeth to explain the issue thoroughly to me. He did not rush the exam, he didn't push for any extra xrays and worked with the xrays that I had provided to him taken just a day before. He also checked the overall health of my mouth and other teeth. Dr. Sonderling has natural teeth retention as his priority and that made me comfortable knowing that he wouldn't drill the teeth unnecessarily. I felt comfortable knowing that he is very genuine and knows how to troubleshoot issues without being invasive.

I don’t recall ever having a healthcare experience as stress free and uncomplicated as the one I’ve had with Dr. Sonderling. The team here is extremely adept, considerate, and compassionate. I wish all my doctors visits were this pleasant and informative. I highly recommend this practice even if you have to pay out of pocket.

Dr. Ezra Sonderling took over my dentist’s practice in Cambridge and I stayed on as a patient. I’m very happy with the thorough and thoughtful care I’ve received. He does the cleaning himself with assistance from the technician. I can’t believe how clean my teeth feel! The water cleaning is intense but it’s worth it. He and his technician are both very very nice and personable. He takes a sincere interest in his patients’ wellbeing. He’s very responsive and encourages patients to contact him directly in an emergency. Look up biometric dentistry - it’s a scientifically supported and minimally invasive approach to dentistry that I had never heard of. Sounds like it could help a lot of people who have significant dental issues keep their teeth without huge crowns and root canals.
