Overall the experience was good (as 'good' as a root canal can be!), the dentist and staff were all very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I've deducted one star because my initial consult appointment was very slow - I ended up waiting 10 minutes past my appt time to be seen, and then every step of the process involved similar waits. Also, I had the root canal done on a tooth with a temporary crown, and it would have been nice if they had notified me that they do not have the proper adhesive to cement the temp crown back in place and that if I needed it to be SECURED, I had to go right back to my regular dentist.

Very pleased with my experience. I was treated with kindness and respect. Everything was explained to me, and all of my questions were answered. My root canal was mostly pain free. This is a very compassionate and professional group of people. Thank you Dr. Doroschak, and staff.

Once again an EXTREMELY positive experience w/ Dr. Kaufman, which, for a ROOT CANAL, is saying something. The new technology they use (Gentlewave irrigation) seems to make a difference. ZERO pain the next day. His assistant was wonderful as well. Top marks, 5 stars, and 2 thumbs WAY up.

I have had a root canal procedure done many years ago at another clinic and the experience wasn’t pleasant and I was there for about 3hours. That is not the case at Metro Endoscopy Burnsville location. Dr. Mittelsteadt performed my root canal procedure and I think I was there a total on 1 hour from check in to check out. It was painless, he was very kind and explained everything as it was happening and gave me great after care advice. If I ever need another root canal I am going to Metro Endoscopy Burnsville location and asking the Dr. Mittelsteadt. It was one of the best dental experiences I have had.

I have had some rough dental experiences in the past and was already stressed after enduring a crown at my own trusted dentist just to discover I now needed a root canal just one week later. I really appreciated the extra time the Endodontist took to verify what was needed and the extra novacain the endodontist administered to be sure I would be comfortable during the procedure. It definitely made the experience better for me. If I ever need another root canal, I will go back to Metropolitan Endonontics and feel less stressed knowing I can trust them.
