If I could give them a zero. Thats the review, I'll give them. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL PRACTICE AT ALL!!! Very disappointing experience at Prospect Heights Dental. The owner was rude and unprofessional during our visit. The focus quickly shifted to pushing a $3,000 out-of-pocket payment for a filling, which felt excessive and poorly explained. When I asked questions about the cost and treatment plan, the situation escalated and my daughter and I were asked to leave the office. Being dismissed from a dental office in that manner was upsetting and inappropriate. Patients deserve transparency, respect, and professionalism—none of which we experienced here. I would recommend carefully considering other options before scheduling an appointment.

Avoid at all costs! Devin Platt is a horrible dentist. I paid him 6k for an implant. When installing it, he screwed up and lost it. I was sent for an x-ray and it landed in my sinus cavity. I had to have a pricey, painful operation with a lengthly recovery (and of course, no implant.) HE NEVER APOLOGIZED AND REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE MONEY BACK. After extensive pestering for a year, he finally gave me a portion back, but I ended up losing $2,500! He offers free cleanings so that he can sell you on his services. Don't be fooled!

This dentist office is EXTREMELY unprofessional. They scheduled me for an appointment in the morning and when I arrived, they said the dentist won’t be there until almost an hour later. I had to go to work, so I rescheduled for later in the afternoon. Less than an hour before my rescheduled appointment, they text me asking if I can confirm the appointment. I responded 15 min later that I will be coming, but they said they cancelled the appointment and gave it to someone else because I didn’t respond in time. The peak of irony is that they demand a $70 deposit to disincentivize last minute cancellations but they have no problem doing the same to you. It’s disgusting. Shameful excuse for a medical practitioner.

I have never done a google review but I would rather save other people the time of day. These people are very unprofessional and based on the other complaints I have seen in these reviews this dental office tries to squeeze you for money. I made an appointment and was made to reschedule the next day by the office to due an unexpected situation which is fine. I accommodated to them and their needs and came in the next day and traveled early in the morning after being under anesthesia the same morning to be on time for my appointment that was GIVEN to me to only find out the office was closed today! I have no clue how the receptionist made an appointment and they were not even open. I called them on two separate contacts I have from them and one of them forced me to voice mail and ignored me in the same texts that they used to schedule my appointment. Very unprofessional. If you care about your health please do not go here they have a 3 star rating for a reason should be two and that’s me being nice.

I visited this Dentist in November 2020 for the first and last time ever for a yearly mouth check up and dental hygiene. Although Mr Platt was polite and nice, his assistant was not very nice and the mouth hygiene was done without much care and it hurt. Mr. Platt said that I had 3 holes in my teeth that needed filling and some wear on my gums. On my way out I was told by the unpleasant assistant that I needed to have 6 fillings done and I was given a quote verbally with the total price 600 USD (with insurance, I was paying 40% of the total cost ~1500 USD), no treatment codes or further explanations. I was booked to do the procedures, but later changed my mind and decided to get a second opinion at my dentist back home. 7 months later, I visit my dentist back home, I get an Xray and check up and I am told everything is fine with my mouth, just some tooth wear but nothing that needed fillings or treatments. I insisted that on my previous visit I was told I had 3 holes and the dentist reassured me that there was nothing wrong with my teeth. I would not trust this practitioner

My experience here was awful. Staff was unprofessional. Dr. Platt barely looked at my teeth, told me I had gum disease and I'd need months of anti-biotics along with visits every 3 months for cleanings and the process would cost nearly a grand. I had some plaque and tartar build up from missing my previous 6 month because of covid. I asked if they'd remove during the cleaning (as every other dentist I've been to has done) and he said that they wouldn't but it'd be covered during the procedure that I'd need for my supposed gum disease. Went to another dentist who said there's no evidence of gum disease and did a proper cleaning. My teeth feel great now. Awful experience with Platt.

The workers were friendly and polite. They work as a team and know what they are about. They explain what they are doing in full. As for Dr. Platt, he explains what he is doing as well after looking at the ex rays and examining your mouth with what discussion you may have with him. He is polite, makes you comfortable, gentle, and definitely knows what he is doing. He loves ❤️ his job. He made a temporary bridge from scratch by hand ✋️... that was the stealer for me. Dr.Platt and his Saturday crew were the best 👌 👍 😍.
