This place is a joke! They said I have a 10 min grace period. I arrived and checked in 8 mins after my appointment time (4:58), and they waited 4 more minutes (at 5:02) to tell my family and me that I had to reschedule. So inconsiderate of them to purposely waste time to make me out of range. Btw, it smelled like pee in the waiting room. I’m so upset I took time off to waste it. I don’t think they wanted my business because of my appearance.

We are very happy with the care that the medical staff provides, they have always been great and are patient and gentle with the kids. The issue is with the front desk staff - they are genuinely abusive every single time. It has become truly unpleasant scheduling and showing up to appointments. For this reason we will be finding a different practice for our children.

My kids and I had a great visit with the dentist. ​First, the people at the front desk were very nice and welcoming. They made us feel comfortable right away. ​The doctor was very nice and patient with my kids, and all of the other staff/helpers were also very understanding of the children. ​Another excellent thing was how fast it was! We were in and out in only 40 minutes for both kids, which is really good. Bottom line A+

I’m only giving a 2 star because the of the people at front desk, they’re always helpful & the guy who cleaned my son teeth. The problem I have with the dental office is the actual dentist, my son is 3 years old and I went in for a cleaning and filling for him, of course he’ll be nervous and scared. Before the dentist came in I heard someone say "good luck" but my son sat through the entire procedure and didn’t cry. She rushed his filling & it looked bulky after, they fell out within 2 weeks. I went about 2 weeks ago for his 6 month cleaning, and she walked in.. I explain to her the fillings came out & she’s saying yeah because it was hard filling his teeth, he was fussy… I said no he wasn’t, initially we tried laughing gas and that made him fussy, once it was turned off he did fine. My daughter has done sedations at the clinic before but she insists on sending my 3 year old somewhere else for general anesthesia because he was "combative" which he wasn’t & then on the paper for the referral she put that they were unable to do an xray on him because of uncooperative behavior, I was confused because he always sat for his xrays. It’s hard find a good dentist for my kids and I hate when people in the medical field work with kids when they don’t have the capability to be patient with them. Her attitude towards kids is disgusting. We found our kids a new dentist & they are amazing, patient and kind & THE NEE DENTIST DID NOT NEED TO SEDATE MY TODDLER FOR THE PROCEDURE HE NEEDED.

We have been bringing our 3 children to this dentist office for more than 6 years without issue. We’ve always been on time for our appointments (at times having to wait an extended period of time before they’re called in) and the cleanings and recommendations my children received were ok. We kept going because the office was close to my children’s school and it is typically a quick drive to get there. We had a 3:30 appointment today (1/27/26) and I left work early to pick them up from school to get to the office on time. However, due to the snow from the recent storm many 2-lane streets became 1 lane, and in addition to snow/ice on the road and regular traffic not moving more than 10 miles an hour it was taking much longer than anticipated to drive the 1.5 miles to the office. I texted the office at about 3:02 pm to let them know that we were on our way but will be running late. I didn’t get a response (I previously communicated with them that way). I called the office at about 3:30 when I was just a few blocks away to let them know that we were almost there. A young lady picked up and told me that there’s a 10 minute courtesy wait time and I had 7 minutes to get to the office. I knew nothing of this policy since it was never mentioned before and we had never been late the 6+ years we had been visiting that office. We got to the office at about 3:43 and the office manager immediately started telling me (she was actually yelling) that they have a policy and cannot wait for patients and I need to pick one of my children to get their checkup/cleaning done today. While I respect the policy of the establishment, I contacted them twice as a courtesy to let them know that I was doing my best to get there on time but it was difficult getting anywhere quickly due to the recent snow storm. It took almost 30 minutes to drive 1.5 miles and we were only about 13 minutes late! The office manager was very dismissive. She started yelling as soon as I told the front desk our names and did not give me a chance to speak. I realized that there was no way I could reason with her and I’m not the type to argue so I left without any of my children getting their checkup/cleaning done. My sister also brought her 5-year son here a few months ago and she did not like the experience either. She said that the dentist was very impatient and said that my nephew was being difficult. They were not able to complete the dental work that was scheduled for that visit. Bottom line, we are looking for another dental office and will not be returning to Healthy Smiles Dentistry.
