There is absolutely no such thing as respect for people's time at this clinic. Delays of an hour or two before an appointment are the rule, not the exception. Come to the appointed hour, wait two hours for an appointment, and then wait in the chair for another 40 minutes while the doctors go to lunch. This is the experience of 4 people who have been treated here. You can write as much as you want that "good treatment takes time", but you should do time management if you repeatedly fail over and over again. Horrible repairs, the false ceiling is falling down. The dental equipment is yellowed from time, there is no saliva drainage. They can tell you that they have applied for insurance approval and just forget about you. On the good side: they accept a lot of insurance, the head doctor is generally friendly and so is the girl at the front desk. However, this does not cover the existing disadvantages of this department

The reception went horribly. Very long waiting time in the waiting room, although I arrived at the appointed time. The staff communicates with clients terribly. absolutely nothing to explain, terrible approach.Inside the room is very small, without repair, medical equipment looks bad. The worst thing is that 4(!!!) months after the reception from the insurance company I receive a confirmation for the installation of GOLDEN crowns on SEVEN teeth. This procedure was not agreed with me, I am 20 years old and of course I would not agree to install gold crowns. I strongly recommend to bypass this place. You will waste your time and nerves. A place with worse service is still to be found.

Very good doctor! He is willing to work with you in order to get things done. Most understanding dentist I've ever been to. His staff is easy going and professional. I can't be happier I've found him. There are probably many good dentists out there but it's hard to find quality, professionalism, kindness and affordability in one doctor.

I spent a good amount of time looking for a new dentist. Dr. Bakman and his staff are true professionals and I'm so glad that I decided to entrust my health and well being with him and his team. Valentin Bakman volunteered to do pro-bono work for this clubhouse called Fountain House, a place for mentally ill people. It is very likely Valentin Bakman was suffering from mental illness or dementia himself because of the incredibly bad quality of work performed on the people there. He was not doing it for free, he was charging Medicaid and Medicare and even performing unnecessary work so he could bill them more, which consists of fraud. He even got sued and had his son who is a lawyer defend him. He is a terrible dentist and a terrible person.
