Dr. Ingrid Barillas, DDS

I chose Dr. Barillas because after consulting several orthodontists for my daughter, I found that she stands out as being ethical, reasonable, friendly and smart. She did not recommend palate expander, while many others did, even though my daughter did not need one. She did not try to upsell Invisalign; we did end up choosing Invisalign. Once, when my daughter lost one of the retainers, she did not try to make money by asking her to get a replacement for $350; instead, she said try the next set in the series, and if it fits, she can wear that one.

I've been taking my daughter here for almost a year. She had to get braces at a young age. My daughter was very nervous in the beginning but she got comfortable after more visits. Shes 10 now and isnt nervous anymore. Since the very first day we came Dr. Barrillas has been a very nice and friendly person. Shes always explaining what shes going to work on. Her staff are amazing too. They are so nice and help you out. Never had a problem here. My brother also comes here

My first appointment was just pictures. She called me to discuss the pics virtually. She recommended me to a surgeon for jaw surgery. I waited a month to see the surgeon. Neither her or the surgeon called me with results. I left multiple messages for her to call me. Months later her staff emails me asking me did I want to proceed with treatment. I was confused because I spoke to her office staff and they would take messages and never call me back. I decided to find a new ortho because I cannot trust someone like Dr. Barillas to treat me after the lack of patient care. No thank you! Go to house of orthodontia instead!
