I’ve been a patient at this dental office for years, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the team. Every dentist I’ve seen has been kind, thoughtful, and incredibly thorough. They always take the time to explain their findings, educate me on my options, and make sure I feel comfortable and informed before moving forward with any treatment. When it comes to scheduling, they are always accommodating and respectful of my time. They send reminder texts well in advance, which makes it easy to plan ahead and never miss an appointment. A special thank you to Frank, who has been such an incredible support when it comes to navigating insurance carriers. He genuinely goes above and beyond to help maximize benefits and ensure oral health care remains accessible.

I had a tooth extraction performed on July 28, 2025, at Dental Associate Group in Bridgeport, CT. During the procedure, I felt excessive force was used and became uncomfortable when my head was physically held without prior consent or knowledge that they were going to doing that. I was also concerned that sedation options were never discussed despite the difficulty of the extraction. After the procedure, the dentist did not provide direct post-operative instructions or inform me that stitches had been placed, which the patient believes reflects poor communication and inadequate standard of care. The experience was distressing, leaving me feeling my comfort and well-being were not prioritized. I'm seeking clarification on whether this approach is considered standard practice. I have attempted to follow up by sending emails on August 8th and August 21st and confirmed by phone that the office has the correct email address, but I have not received a response. Due to the negative experience and lack of communication, I have chosen not to return for my follow-up appointment because I do not feel comfortable.

ALSO there are a lot more people who have probably reviewed negatively because they will call you and ask to remove it. My mother did it because I still had to go back for the 5th time in 2 months for and impression that shouldn’t taken one impression. I was told it was to make sure it’s "right" and they still messed it up. This place is a joke and they know they’re bad. But they also know most people can’t afford better dentists so they use that to their advantage. No integrity or shame. The receptionist thinks he’s some top guy in the office but he’s just a salesman literally. His main goal is to push onto people paying out of pocket for the dentures or partial or whatever by knowing it’s going to take months to get it. It’s sad Im so thankful I started working in this field so I can see how messed up these types of places are.

NOT reliable at all. I had an appointment for a filling on the 9th, i call ahead 2 times to confirm my appointment, no answer. They gave me an appointment slip that very clearly said "Jan 9th @11am" and listed the bridgeport location. I get there and the door is closed, no one is there. I’m very confused and mad so i go to the trumbull location thinking that I messed up somehow? wrong. The door was locked there too. I call them a couple times and leave a message and they STILL haven’t gotten back to me regarding my appointment. How unprofessional! At least call me to say you are closed but don’t waste my time having to drive 30 minutes and to both locations for poor communication. Also, this was after they text me regarding my upcoming wisdom teeth extraction. They changed the date of the appointment without talking to me first as it was supposed to be at the end of Jan. and they moved it to Feb. Also a text isn’t a good communicator or professional, you should’ve called and followed up to discuss the issues with insurance and the date change. I see how you guys respond to most of the reviews so don’t say i’m not in the system or that you can’t find me bc i know that i am. I went to both the trumbull and bridgeport offices. Once you find me in your system, cancel my wisdom teeth appointment while your at it because i will probably get ghosted anyway and don’t feel comfortable getting put to sleep around people with poor communication and who aren’t trusting. Won’t ever trust them with my teeth again.

In the beginning of August 2025, I went to get a dental cleaning at Dental Associates. The dental hygienist's hand was very shaky and she appeared to be fresh out of school. After the cleaning was done, the front-desk guy told me that I had some cavities and potential for cavities and some fillings needed to be done. He never pointed to the exact teeth on the Xray. Mind you, an office administrator suggested this work to be done, not a dentist. I shrugged it off because I was suspicious of his intentions. I regret not listening to my intuition. Three and a half months later, I felt some sensitivity on one of the pre-molar teeth on the right while brushing my teeth. So I thought "ok maybe that's why he wanted to do fillings on that side." I proceeded to book an appointment to come a few days thereafter to do the fillings. Before they did anything on me, they did an Xray to see if there's anything wrong with the tooth where I felt sensitivity brushing. They looked at the Xray and said there's nothing wrong there. I should've left the office at that moment, but I thought "ok, well they did the Xray and told me there's nothing wrong with that tooth and I've gotten fillings done elsewhere years ago and it was painless so ok, why not do the fillings they suggested?" I was trying to get more information on the particular teeth that they wanted to do fillings on but they never provided any Xray or any teeth numbers. I made the worst decision of my life and decided to proceed ahead with the fillings. Oh boy am I paying the price for that mistake. Dental Associates did not have me sign anything that day to approve of the procedure. After they completed the fillings and before I left their office and before I even put anything in my mouth to know if the procedure went well or not, the male front-desk male employee, who I assume to be an office administrator or the practice’s salesperson, told me that "this is only the first step," and "maybe later we will have to do a root canal." For the second time, he was recommending procedures to be done on me without showing me any Xrays or photos. How would he know that I needed a root canal? I should’ve asked him that question then, but I did not because I placed my faith in these medical professionals. As soon as I got out to my car and drank water, I had cold sensitivity on the right side of my mouth on one of the top two teeth that they filled. I'm still trying to fix the problems caused by this office. A few weeks later, I went to another dentist because I obviously lost all faith in Dental Associates after playing the events back in my head. The other dentist told me that they were teeth #3, #4, and #30 where Dental Associates did their fillings. Tooth #4 went well, but tooth #3's filling broke off. Tooth #30 had a chip which wasn't there before - this was presumably caused by the dentist at Dental Associates when she was trying to shave off the filling to make the bite even. My front teeth are feeling sensitivity to the cold as well. I'm not even sure if Dental Associates worked on these front teeth without informing me, because I was under anesthesia and had my eyes closed. It’s just bizarre that they all became sensitive around the same time. Right now, the entire right side of my mouth is not feeling well and as mentioned, I’m still in the process of fixing the damage done. With the evidence presented from my experience, it appears that DAG recommended unnecessary procedures for me.
