I’ve been coming to Brea Family Dental Center for years, and I can confidently say Dr. Hsieh is the best dentist I’ve ever had. I can literally fall asleep in the chair—which we all know is a rare thing. He’s incredibly welcoming, always makes sure you’re comfortable throughout the entire visit, and somehow manages to crack the funniest jokes while working. There’s a reason I’ve been coming here since middle school. Highly recommend!

I had a filling done today and it was a painless procedure! I had an excellent experience at this dental office. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, kind, and professional. Alicia made check-in easy, and I never felt rushed or overlooked. Dr. Kwok and her assistants Alondra and Itzel took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit. The office itself is clean, modern, and calming. I truly felt like they cared about my health and comfort, not just getting me in and out. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and friendly dental team. Thank you Tonia for making check out easy!

I have been going to this office for several years. In April 2025 this office made a set of upper dentures for me. These dentures are clearly 3-D printed plastic, something I had never encountered although I've had several dentures over the years. Eight months later, they developed a crack in the front where my lower crown was hitting the upper denture. Dr. Chen was aware that that crown was hitting but chose to leave it as is and I was unaware these dentures would crack. I went back to the dentist for repair only to discover that Dr. Chen had sold the Practice and returned to Hong Kong . The new owner advised that she would speak with Dr. Chen and get back with me on how to proceed. Yesterday I was notified that Dr. Chen would not honor any warranty, but the new doctor would repair and reline them for me . Today I discovered that they want me to spend another $1000 dollars to repair and reline this eight month old denture. This is very expensive in my opinion, even if the Denture wasn't new. This is appalling to me and I am immensely disappointed. I guess this is just a heads up that Dr. Chen is no longer at this practice and apparently doesn't see Fit to make sure prior customers were satisfied. I also feel like the new dentist could've provided a more reasonable cost to correct this problem.

I arrived for my scheduled appointment and waited approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes without being called back. I was later informed that the visit was marked as a "no show," which was surprising since I was physically present in the office during that time. When I attempted to clarify and reschedule, communication was difficult. I received a voicemail indicating that the VA would be notified about missed appointments. Additionally, my father, who is a disabled senior, contacted the office on my behalf and felt the interaction was handled in a discourteous manner. I understand practices have policies regarding missed appointments. However, I would have appreciated clearer communication and a more professional approach to resolving the situation. I hope future disabled people and veterans are not treated the same at this establishment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTAL OFFICE TO ANY DISABLED PERSON OR VETERAN.

I had my wisdom teeth removed here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I walked in, the office felt welcoming and calm, which really helped ease my nerves. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, taking the time to explain each step and make sure I was comfortable. The dentist, Dr. Alexis Kwok was absolutely amazing — gentle, reassuring, and highly skilled. I was especially nervous abou this procedure of pulling my wisdom teeth, but she checked in with me throughout the procedure and made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable. I truly felt cared for and in great hands the entire time. If you’re nervous about getting your wisdom teeth pulled, I highly recommend this office. Outstanding service, an amazing team, and an exceptional dentist!
