Rathburn Dental

I have been going to Dr. Rathburn for a long time. Everyone that works there is wonderful. Ann has been my dental hygienist for years. She is very caring and knowledgeable. I have had a lot of dental work done over the years and have never had a bad experience.

I've recommend this practice to so many people I know, now here's a recommendation for people I don't know. If you've ever had a frustrating dentist experience or have anxiety related to the dentist, please go to Rathburn Dental. The staff is so supportive and have helped me find multiple ways to be more comfortable with parts of the process that I find stressful/difficult. It's a small practice and they get to know you so you don't have to advocate for yourself constantly. When my teeth were showing signs of wear/damage, Dr Rathburn helped me understand why it would be valuable to consult with an orthodontist. He worked closely with that team to ensure the results were correct. Throughout, he was clear about what was just cosmetic but what would impact my teeth longterm, and showed me directly what he was seeing, so I never doubted the value of the recommendations. Would give more stars if I could.

This is an excellent dental practice. Dr Rathburn is extremely knowledgeable and proficient. I highly recommend Abby, dental hygienist, for teeth cleaning. She is very professional, gentle and extremely proficient at what she does. They are the best teeth cleanings I have ever received in 50 years. My teeth are much whiter looking after Abby's cleanings compared to all the other cleanings that I have had at other dental offices. She is very knowledgeable and experienced in her industry.

Ann and Dr Plunkett are gentle, professional, and make my appointments very comfortable and stress-free. They explain what they are doing, answered all my questions. My teeth felt great afterward—super clean and refreshed! They care about their patients and are both skilled and kind, I highly recommend them

I cannot say enough about the Rathburn Dental Office. They are so Amazing!!! My daughter (18) has been going for a few years now. We found Dr Rathburn’s office after my daughter experienced a traumatic incident at Young Dentistry in Louisville when she was younger. It took a couple years to find a dental hygienist that she trusted to even look at her teeth. The team at Rathburn Dental, especially Abby have been so wonderful and patient!!! From the moment you come into the office Shelly greets you and is happy to help. Abby (dental hygienist) is so amazing!!! So patient, compassionate and understanding!!! I don’t know how she does it but she is so very kind and really seems to understand my daughter’s situation! Always has my daughter’s best interest and trust. Every visit they work with her, explaining the process and insuring her that she makes the choice if she needs to stop or needs a break. Again wonderful office and would highly recommend!

The dental care Dr. Rathburn's team provides is top notch. The entire team is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about their work, and caring. Dr. Rathburn has taken great care of my teeth and health, and Abby, one of the team’s Dental Hygienists, is a true expert in her field. She has taught me so much over the years, helping me understand how dental health is related to so many other aspects of health. It’s a gift to receive care from someone so knowledgeable and passionate about her field of work.
