As someone who has anxiety at the dentist office, Dr. Smith was excellent at explaining the surgical plan and peri-operative details while easing my anxiety. It was an easy and quick consultation visit. I am excited to get my wisdom teeth removed and I have full confidence in him as my oral surgeon!

I am nervous about the dentist and I have a certain level of anxiety. I was having a hard time finding an oral surgeon that I felt comfortable with. From my first encounter with Doctor David H. Smith he was great. I loved his bedside manner, he answered my questions and he made sure that I had a real understanding. When I came in for my actual surgery I explained to them that I have deep veins and they roll, I needed an IV. Some doctors and nurses disregard me and try to stick me in my arm anyway with no caution and don't listen. He listened from the very beginning, we put the IV in my hand and everything went great. I remember coming in and out of sedation but I never felt anything I opened my eyes a couple of times and I went right back out. I can say during the entire surgery I could hear him talking, everything that he did, he explained step by step. When I woke up I could vividly remember hearing him speak to me the whole surgery. That was amazing. After the surgery I believe her name was Sylvia, she was amazingly great as well. She answered all of my follow-up questions and escorted me outside to the car. There were two other young ladies that came into the room before my surgery and I don't know if they were there throughout the surgery or not but the names and people that I remember where my doctor which is David H Smith and Sylvia. My daughter also has to have surgery and I will definitely be taking her to Dr. H Smith. I'm not a review writer but I felt they deserved the recognition.
