Supertooth at Bethesda

Very grateful for our dental hygentist, Ella. She knows that I am pretty nervous at the dentist and she takes the most wonderful care of me. She is so kind, gentle, and continuously ensures that I am comfortable. She teaches me a lot about caring for my teeth. My husband hadn't seen a dentist for many years and saw Ella for the first time even before I did. He refuses to ever see anyone else! He begged me to switch dentists to see Ella and Dr. Ben Manesh, and I am so grateful that I did! Highly recommend!

Ella is truly the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had, gentle, thorough, and consistently attentive. She makes each visit feel comfortable and seamless, and takes the time to explain everything with genuine care. Her professionalism, paired with her warm and reassuring manner, makes a noticeable difference, I actually find myself looking forward to my appointments (never thought I’d say that about a dental visit) Dr. Zadeh is great as well, very professional and easy to talk to. Overall, a fantastic team. Highly recommend!

Supertooth overcharged me by $1,100 and would not respond to my inquires after I noticed the billing discrepancy. They had random miscellaneous "lab fees" on the original invoice that were never sent to my insurance company. It is unfortunate since I had such a great experience with the dental hygienist (Ella) and the other dentists. I would not recommend this dentist due to their questionable billing practices.

Gums started throbbing over the weekend, found Supertooth on ZocDoc. I was so surprised that they had Sunday appointments! I drove Bethesda, was greeted by Luna and after a short wait, an x-ray was taken and Dr. Zadeh informed me that I had an infection on a tooth that I had a root canal done on years ago. She was very sweet! I purchased an oral rinse and was given a prescription for antibiotics. My dental insurance could not be verified so I had to pay out of pocket but it prevented me from having to endure pain (and possibly calling out of work the next day) as the antibiotics began to work within hours. I was very pleased with the service!

Unfortunately, I will no longer be a patient at this office. They did not inform me that the dentist I was seeing (who was in-network) departed the organization. Many other offices will notify you if the doctor you were seeing leaves the office. Furthermore, they set me up with a dentist that was not in my network. They set me up with them when I came to my appointment, expecting to see my old dentist (again, no communication that she left). They did not tell me this before the cleaning started, so I had to pay $130 out of pocket. Due to their unprofessional handling of my dentist's departure and failing to notify me that my dentist left the organization, I will not be visiting again.

Ella is probably the best hygienist I’ve been to. She was very thorough and detailed oriented, you can tell she truly cares about her patients and offers effective treatment plans.

This was my first appointment with Ella, and I couldn’t be happier. She was incredibly professional and friendly, and she made the entire experience comfortable and stress-free. I have very sensitive teeth, but I didn’t feel any pain at all.
