My son and daughter were at one of those "Kids" practices along Solano when he ended up with a massive toothache where he was intolerable pain all night. The "Kids" practice could not accommodate my 9 year old until the end of the week. We did not have time for that. I reached out directly to Dr. Kristen Forbes and she was able to squeeze him in for an emergency lunch assessment and eventual extraction. My son and daughter are now proudly going back for the cleanings and if something does come up I have the piece of mind that this practice will step up for all members of my family.

Expect a 9 month wait for an appointment! I waited 9 months to get my first appointment, then needed to reschedule due to having a respiratory infection. I was rescheduled 9 months later (18 months after I first called) and asked to call periodically for cancellations. I called biweekly for 4 months and was told each time there were no appointments available and there was a very long waiting list. I wish they would not have accepted me as a new patient vs stringing me along for months.

Poor patient management. Don't take on more patients if you can't see them every six months for a regular cleaning. At first I thought it was due to COVID backlog, but they've said they can't schedule my next appointment in sooner than nine months three times now. Appointments are very rushed.

Found this place in August 2021, (their location is very convenient, felt lazy to drive to my dentist) visited them once in October, 2021 for a very basic cleaning and annual check; I have insurance that covers these things. in January 12, 2022, got a bill from them with 2 extra fraudulent charges for the procedures they never did. the due day is in a few weeks (60 days usually given to pay by law). Called them 3 times, left messages. they never responded or gave a call-back. The bill is not that big, but I can’t tolerate any dishonesty from the healthcare providers If they do such things with the basic procedure, I can’t even imagine their scale of fraud on something major. FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD! Please, be aware and take care of your health.

Clean and efficient, everyone is nice.Takes a while for an appointment . Got my cleaning done this month but They are booking further out. My "6 month" cleaning is in April 2024.

I went to Forbes a few years ago for a cap on a lower molar. I returned a few days later for some bite adjustment, and I told him that I was having some pain in the corresponding upper molar. He told me not to worry about it. Four days later, the upper molar disintegrated. So I switched to my wife’s dentist and he did a cap on that upper molar. A year or two later, the Forbes cap fell off. I went to my dentist and he looked at it and said that there were no "box cuts." That is, none of the shaping that holds a cap on. Forbes had relied only on the adhesive to hold the cap in place! Another Forbes story: my wife has a problematic molar. She saw Forbes around 20 years ago and he said it couldn’t be saved. She found her current dentist, and she still has that tooth. (Her current dentist is a genius…)

Stellar Dr Forbes-he is 'true gem'and Dr Kristen Forbes as well.Our family has been going to Dr Forbes for years now.He has such a gentle bed-side manner,patience,understanding ,sensitivity and is brilliant,competent and beyond in his work. He is so ethical,professional,'smart as a whip' yet humble.As well the staff is just great at office.Cathy,Barbara !!
