Veltkamp Orthodontics - Bellingham

We consulted 3 different orthodontists in town and couldn’t be happier with Veltkamp! They are one of the orthodontists in town who have a reputation for doing excellent work. But they also have lower prices and went the extra mile to get it covered by insurance when some wouldn’t even try. They explained everything beforehand, and they make treatment really fun and calm and explain everything they are going to do in the appointment, so all anxiety is dissolved. They have been super supportive with telling us what to expect after each visit, setting us up with everything we need for our child’s comfort, and even calling to check in about how it’s going. The office staff are very welcoming and the office is fun with games, giant tablets to play together on while waiting for the appointment, hot drinks, and a self sign-in screen, so our child loves getting to do everything themself when they arrive. Getting a special packet of care implements and getting to choose from a bunch of fun t-shirt designs is also a big plus when starting treatment as the beginning is the most uncomfortable. Highly recommend!

My oldest daughter got some braces and expander today, and Carly was the one who helped us through it — and honestly, she was amazing. She was super kind, patient, and made the whole experience so much easier and fun. Carly explained everything, answered all our questions without rushing, and really helped calm my daughter’s nerves. You can tell she knows what she’s doing, genuinely cares, and is great with kids. Everyone in the office is very nice and welcoming. Thank you!

Such a better experience that previous orthodontists we’ve seen and so much more affordable. Dr Veltkamp made us feel very comfortable and made sure all our questions and concerns were answered. Thank you for being an all around awesome orthodontist!!

Everyone at Dr. Veltkamp's office is great. They are very friendly and easy to work with, everyone is always happy. Dr. Velkamp and all of his assistants do a great job and are good with kids. They are quick and efficient and scheduling is always easy. The office is very clean and tidy and it's a bonus that they offer drinks while we wait. I would definitely recommend Dr. Velkamp's office!

Dr. Veltkamp did amazing work without having to do jaw surgery for me. He rectified what could have been a lost cause for my teeth. The office staff go above and beyond to make tight schedules work, and they are very personable.

These folks have straightened teeth on myself and my youngest daughter. Friendliest people I know in any medical field. Trevor, Carla and his team set the bar super high. Appointments are quick and scheduling is always flexible. More affordable than you think. Bravo!
