I can't say enough good things about Dr. Will and the Nichols family dental staff. I have had a lot of dental work done throughout my life and I can say without a doubt this is the best dental experience I've ever had. Dr Will and his assistant Maddie are so kind and gentle. Dr. Will is great at explaining the process of any work you need to have done. He truly cares about everyone's health as well as smile goals. For the first I have a renewed sense of hope of getting the smile I've always wanted. And I have gotten amazing results already!!! Thank you so much Dr. Will and your lovely staff for creating such a welcoming, comfortable and caring environment. ❤️❤️❤️

I switched to Nichols Family Dentistry about 3 years ago. I love this office! It is in an adorable 100+year old home in the heart of Bellingham. The dentists are a married couple and both just as friendly and professional as can be. I love their hygienist’s too. Everyone is always friendly and happy plus the dental work is top notch. They’ve replaced a couple of my crowns and done a fabulous job. I highly recommend them!

I would LOVE to have given this office 5 stars, but I've had such a negative experience with the billing practices this office participates in, that I simply cannot. The dentist himself was an extremely pleasant guy, and really seemed to care about his patients, but the hygienists talked my wife into additional treatments that they KNEW insurance wasn't going to cover at all, but didn't bother mentioning that fact to her or me. When I called to inquire, the biller was alarmingly rude to me, saying it was MY responsibility to know what my insurance does and does not cover. This is of course, true, and had I known my wife (who is a foreigner used to universal healthcare) was signing up for extra services I might have put a stop to it, but we were never given that opportunity. I understand the dentist has to make money, but this felt very immoral to me, and I had to cancel all future appointments, which the biller was all too gleeful to do.

I highly recommend Nichols Family Dentistry to anyone who has dental anxiety like I do. Dr Will has a way of keeping you calm while he works his magic. The whole staff is great too! Super friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely the best dental experience I've ever had! The Nichols are intelligent and compassionate. The entire office is kind, professional and inviting. Everyone there treats you like they've known you forever, and in an environment that is already high anxiety, they have the ability to deescalate and make you feel at ease. This practice is a valuable asset to our community. My family is very thankful to have found them.

I never knew how good dental care could be! The whole team is exceptional with a clear focus on customer care. Both dentist are well versed in the latest treatments and procedures and the care they demonstrate is a rare find. Add to that a calming office environment in a classic Craftsman home and this dental practice is unmatched. Highly recommended!

This was the best dental experience I've ever had! Will (who goes by his first name) is so friendly and warm, just like all of the other staff. The place has a cozy family feel that is equally professional as it is inviting. As I was getting a filling I was completely entertained and delighted by the dentist's conversation. They do "Happy Visits" for kids to get used to going to the dentist and make it a fun experience. Their team does service trips to Tanzania to provide dental care for people in remote areas. Such a thoughtful, passionate and skilled team. I recommend them to everyone, and I won't be going anywhere else!
