I had such a meaningful and unforgettable experience shadowing at Summercrest Dental. From the very first day, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for — not just as a student, but like part of the team. I am incredibly grateful to Maricel, Annie, Elena, and especially Dr. Alex for their kindness, patience, and constant support. They took the time to guide me, answer my questions, and share their knowledge with me, which truly meant so much. What stood out the most to me was how everyone treated each other and their patients with so much respect, warmth, and professionalism. Being in this environment made me feel inspired and even more confident about pursuing a career in dentistry. It’s rare to find a place where you feel both comfortable and motivated at the same time, and I truly felt that here. Thank you for making me feel like part of a family. Dr. Alex Yanchuk is very nice & has made the transition from Dr. Marrero, that I went to for many years, very pleasant. The entire staff is nice. The whole visit was pleasant. I forgot to add that he has a fat cat too!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Alex Yanchuk. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well cared for. Dr. Yanchuk is not only highly skilled but also takes the time to explain everything clearly and make sure you’re comfortable throughout the entire visit. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and genuine care for patients. You can tell he truly wants the best outcomes and goes the extra mile to ensure high-quality work. The staff is also friendly, professional, and efficient, which makes the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

I had such a great experience at Summercrest Dental today. Dr. Alex was incredibly personable and genuinely caring. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable the entire time, which made a huge difference for me. The staff was absolutely amazing as well—kind, welcoming, and very professional. You can tell they truly care about their patients. I highly recommend this office if you’re looking for a dentist who makes you feel at ease and takes the time to provide great care.

Just switched over to Summercrest Dental (due to health insurance changes). Maricel was so welcoming at the front desk (after several phone conversation). l had my first meeting with Dr. Alex who as very pleasant to talk to and profesionally explained the care process as well as what he observed after all procedures compleeted (Xray etc..). I had a good sense of warm and personaly connection and will have my first cleaning in 4 months.

A Husband & Wife team, very friendly and they make the dentist chair experience very comfortable. I think most of their equipment is new and the dentistry process is really pain free at least it has been for us. Also it seems to be much quicker to get things done, like cleaning, filling setting a new cap. You're in, they get you taken care of, and you're on your way. 5 stars from us. Duane in Hillsboro.

Alex is a younger man which means that he is up on the latest dentistry procedures. He is very personable and makes a very good impression when you meet him. His innovative approach to solving dental problems worked perfectly for me. He was able to solve my problem in a way that was comfortable and better than previous dentists I've used. I will continue seeing him for my dentistry, and I highly recommend him to you.
