Marco Garcia, DDS and Scott Tangeman, DDS

I've been looking for a dentist for a while now. Having been in the dental field, I 'm very particular on who I see. I've worked with Dr. Garcia in the past. Seen 1st hand how he treats his patients. I saw that Dr. Garcia had his own practice and I made an appointment, glad I did. Darlene got me in that same week. Office staff is very welcoming. Dr.Garcia is very kind, compassionate and has a gental approach. Takes time with patients. You can see he loves what he does. So if your looking for a dentist come see Dr. Marco Garcia. Dr. Garcia was very general with me. The staff has been great and caring about my comfort. I feel I am a challenging case and the doctor and team rose to the challenge and I am grateful to them. I’m on track to better dental health.

Dr. Garcia is very kind, professional and knowledgeable. I had a wonderful experience and was able to ask questions while he showed me my xrays and scan. His staff was very sweet and the assistant who worked with me was very proficient. I would definitely refer anyone to his office.

New dentist, at first a little hesitant but dr Garcia is just as good as Dr. Tangeman. I know that Dr Tangeman needs to retire and enjoy life but he will be missed. He was the best dentist! Now, I look forward to have Dr Garcia as my family's new dentist. I just had my first experience with his service today, my fears went away instantly. He is just as good as Dr Tangemam.

Dr. Tangeman is incredible!!! 5 stars! My children used to be fearful of the dentist and that is a thing of the PAST since we’ve found Dr.Tangeman. He is patient, thorough and for those that have children he takes the time to explain things in a kid friendly manner for the younger patients. The office staff is extremely welcoming and knowledgeable as well. Suzie makes the insurance process a breeze! Wonderful experience all around and I highly recommend this office to everyone in the Bakersfield community! Thank you Dr. Tangeman!!

Dr. Garcia took over recently, and I wish I could give him more stars. He treats patients with honesty and fairness. He only does work that is necessary, and does not over treat patients. I like how he takes the time to explain things with his patients, so we understand the pros and cons for treatment. He also went to the UCSF school of dentistry, which is top in the nation.

It was very apparent to me that Dr. Tangeman and his staff truly have their patients best interests at heart. He was straightforward about his concerns regarding my oral health. He explained everything very clearly and made sure I understood what he was recommending.
