Downtown Dental Center

We have been clients at Downtown Dental for four years and continue to be pleased with our care. Hygienists are kind and efficient and our dentist, Dr Carter, is great at keeping me/us pain-free when completing work. The front desk crew does magic and gets most of our work covered by insurance. We feel fortunate to be part of their practice!

This place is simply not equipped properly for surgical procedures, and it shows. The tools they use seem outdated and limited—almost a one-size-fits-all approach, which is completely inadequate when working on something as precise as different mouth and tooth sizes. The suction tubes in particular are poorly maintained and do not function as they should. Instead of keeping the mouth clear, they fail to drain fluids properly, leaving the patient uncomfortable and even at risk of choking during treatment. That alone is unacceptable. Overall, the lack of proper, well-serviced equipment makes the entire experience feel unsafe and unprofessional. For anyone considering surgery here, I would strongly caution against it. This clinic really needs serious upgrades before it can be trusted.

Sabrina is the hygienist. She does an excellent job and always has💖. When I first moved to the Atlanta area I found Midtown Dental where she worked. She left there with some of the doctors. Now after perhaps two years I’ve necessarily found her again and Drs. Carter and Smith. The entire team from the receptionist Brianna to the billing staff, they all make sure everything is done right and you’re fully informed —before you get the bill. Can’t say that for all practices. Glad to be again with professional ethical care givers! And yes Sabrina I’ll do better on my flossing with the water pick. Join this practice and you’ll get the professional quality care and service you need!

I absolutely love Downtown Dental! From the moment I walk in, Nadia at the front desk is always ready with the information I need. She makes scheduling so easy and always does her best to work around my busy occupation, which I really appreciate. Sabrina is an amazing hygienist—her care and encouragement truly helped me rebuild my confidence in my teeth and gum health. I’ve never felt so comfortable and supported in a dental office. The doctor is fantastic as well. He always gives the best recommendations and explains everything clearly, making dental care both financially and physically as pain-free as possible. This team really goes above and beyond, and I couldn’t imagine trusting my smile to anyone else!

I love the staff, especially the front desk ladies, they are very concerned about the patients, they made sure my questions was answered with a very positive attitude, thank You ladies for that.

Let’s be honest: getting a crown replaced is rarely something anyone looks forward to, but this procedure was completely painless and far exceeded my expectations. I say that with perspective, because I had attempted to have this same procedure done at another dental office previously, and the experience there left me questioning the competence of the dentist. By contrast, at Downtown Dental Center, I had absolutely no concerns. Every step was handled flawlessly, and I left feeling both relieved and impressed. I now have complete confidence in their ability to handle all of my dental needs moving forward, and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking exceptional care.

What a wonderful place to come to. The staff is incredibly relatable and very down to earth. I came to support my partner and the hospitality was brimming out the door. I felt incredibly taken care of and the conversations and care provided by Dr.Carter, Tiffany, and Sabrina were second to none.
