This office charged me $791 for a single xray of one tooth, numbing injection, crown removal, and gingivectomy. Told me I needed to have $2,894 more of work because she said I needed a bone graft and partial plate and the rest of the tooth removed. She didn’t remove the tooth that day (which should have been done) because of an old wrist injury. Said the tooth had 4 roots. #1 I should have been informed on my 1st phone call for tooth pain that an extraction would have to wait for 3 WEEKS because SHE CAN’T DO EXTRACTIONS HERSELF #2 Dr Willoughby insisted I needed a bone graft and partial plate MINIMUM (tried to get me to do a bridge that costs $7,113.00 which I can’t afford). #3 when I went back for the procedure the other DDS was impatient and rude (my blood pressure was up and even though I reduced the #of procedures from 3 to 2 ie: no partial plate till I could pay for it) she wouldn’t give me 5 minutes to get my blood pressure down. I was ONLY offered 1 pain relief option-apparently they don’t have gas or propofol! All they have is a drug that can’t be given if your BP is high. I have never heard of a DDS that only has ONE PAIN RELIEF OPTION. I went to an Oral Surgeon. That Dr said ‘Can’t tell how many roots a tooth has without a CT scan, don’t have to have a bone graft or partial plate’. I would NOT use this DDS!

I was visiting Asheville from out of town and had a dental emergency. They were able to get me in to be seen by the doctor immediately and her and her amazing staff spent over an hour fixing my problem and relieving me of pain. I am so grateful for their competence, efficiency & friendliness. I highly recommend this practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Willoughby for approximately 3 years. Her professionalism and that of her staff are outstanding. I also love that they have state of the art equipment for faster service. Dr. Willoughby and her staff are extremely friendly and very thorough in their work. I personally have found that I get immediate answers to most questions. If her staff clean your teeth or work on another issue in your mouth, Dr. Willoughby will double check their work before you leave, to ensure it was to her satisfaction, and yours. Dr. Willoughby is an extremely caring and gentle dentist. Her and her staff are wonderful. Their first priority is always concern for me and my comfort. I needed significant dental work done and she went over the plan in great detail with me. After years of seeing dentists and having bad teeth due to my health I found them to be quite affordable For the amount of work that needed to be done. They are professional, courteous and efficient Never making me feel like I didn’t take care of my mouth as other dentists have. . They answer their phones or call back in a timely manner, even calling after each visit to make sure I am doing well and comfortable. If I do have a problem they see me as soon as possible. I am so thankful that I was referred to them and I definitely recommend Dr. Willoughby if you’re looking for a new dentist.

The office and medical team were very aware of and taking great care with exposure precautions. I felt completely safe. I don’t dread going to the dentist, but I don’t relish it either. The dental hygienist, Kristy, was so gentle and thorough. Dr. Willoughby was also gentle and personable. I highly recommend this group and have already scheduled my next apt!

Dr. Willoughby has been my dentist for over a decade. My appointments are always prompt and she is really thorough in her exams. She and the staff are so kind, careful, and gentle. They never try to push products, but are happy to answer questions and concerns. I never feel rushed and appreciate the time they put into patient care. I highly recommend Dr. Willoughby and her dental practice. I was especially impressed this visit when my hygienist told me all the things they had changed in the office to be more environmental including giving out bamboo toothbrushes to patients!

Dr. Bare is phenomenal! Professional and courteous always! I have seen her for years and look forward to my cleanings! I know I can count on this office! All the ladies there are wonderful! I saw Dr. Willoughby for an emergency work-in once and she was also excellent and very accommodating to getting me in! I highly recommend this practice!
