I called as new patient and could not get an original appointment until June. However Natalie called me for an available spot when someone cancelled yesterday’s schedule. My checkup and cleaning went really well. Thanks for Kim’s capable hands and skills. Everyone was very nice and accommodating.

After seeing all the good reviews, I tried to setup a new patient appointment. I left a voicemail over a week ago and have not heard back. I have called on different days at different times in the day and went to voicemail every single time. Not sure I'd want to be a patient here now that I know communication is so poor if I actually had issues to resolve.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Efird for almost 8 years now. I’ve had a number of crowns and veneers as well as routine cleanings and fillings. Dr Efird is excellent and so is his friendly support staff. I highly recommend Carolina Mountain Dental.

This was my first visit to Carolina Mountain Dental, and I was immediately impressed by the professional yet welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, Natalie greeted me warmly, helped me with the new patient information, and introduced me to Stephanie, the dental assistant. Stephanie made me feel comfortable in the chair and clearly explained each step of the process. Then Dr. Efrid came in, and with confidence and kindness, assured me that my smile would radiate the world. Bottom line: they exceeded my expectations! It seems a bit strange to say I had fun getting my teeth cleaned today, but Lisa made the process both educational and enjoyable. Come to think of it, I’ve laughed more in Dr. Efird’s office (even while getting a crown!) than I have in any other dentist's, and no that’s not with nitrous oxide assistance. Glad I picked this place for dental care when I moved to Asheville.
