What an incredible first experience for our special needs son. Lexi and Dr. Shaw knocked it out of the park. We were taken back for a brief consult where I was able to explain our son's needs, how to interact with him and what to expect from him. Lexi was attentive to me and explained everything she'd be doing. She assured me that if she needed my help after taking our son back by himself (I was a ball of nerves thinking about him going back without me, he's 5), she would be sure to come get me. I never had to go back because our son did GREAT! All thanks to Lexi for her patience, genuine care, concern and ultimate professionalism. Dr. Shaw took the time to meet with me after the appointment and explained how things went and our son's great report. Thanks First Impressions Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics. This was the first time bringing our kids (4 and 2 years old). We had an excellent experience right from the start. We highly recommend bringing your kids especially little ones. All the staff was so kind and are made to working with children. Thank you first impressions for taking great care of our kids. They have been playing dentist since having there cleaning and exam done! 🦷🪥😀

Avoid this place at all costs. I brought my three-year-old for an exam and their first real cleaning. When scheduling, the receptionist mentioned that they typically separate children from parents for any procedures. I immediately said I wasn’t comfortable with that at my child’s age and asked if we should cancel the appointment. I was reassured that the policy wasn’t strict and wouldn’t be pushed. Fast forward to the appointment: after checking in, we were taken to a consult room, and they told me they were going to take my child to the back. I reminded them that I had clearly stated I did not want to be separated. The hygienist left to get the dentist, who came in and listened as I explained my concerns. I said I was open to gradually working toward independent visits, but for this first one, I needed to be present. The dentist responded by saying we might not be a good fit and refused to see my child unless I agreed to be separated. The whole situation left me extremely uncomfortable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

DON’T TRUST THEM!!!! This place is an absolute SCAM!!! Over multiple visits with my children, there hasn’t been an actual dentist in the office one time. That being said, my kids have great teeth, but after the visit, the hygienist says that my kids have cavities and one even needs a crown. This was suggested without even speaking with an actual dentist or having them review the x-rays. I got a second opinion from another dentist who told me that one of my children only had one cavity, not two, and that the one that supposedly needed a crown really doesn’t and that would be quite the stretch. Basically, the office is simply lying and exaggerating to make money off their clients. I will absolutely NEVER GO BACK!!!

I had a very disappointing first experience with this office. I initially had difficulty getting help scheduling an appointment and asked to speak with someone else. The second receptionist was helpful and explained that referrals can take time to be faxed, and we were able to schedule. However, I was later told I would no longer be provided service because I asked for another receptionist. Refusing care over a simple request for assistance felt unprofessional and concerning. I expected better communication and professionalism.

Very friendly and thorough. Love the report card. My kid always leaves happy-- which is a great thing to be able to say about going to the dentist.

My daughter had her first dental appointment here and was immediately excited to see a playground in the waiting room! Everyone we worked with was so kind and patient. We didn't feel rushed and they took their time letting my daughter explore the tools they'd use. I felt they shared a lot of really great resources and I was happy to hear there is always someone on call in case of an emergency. Overall it was a great experience and my daughter walked out to the car saying, "I like my dentist!"
