I had a great experience during my recent dental appointment with Dr. Isaac and her assistant, Najah. From the moment I arrived, everything went smoothly and on time, which I really appreciated. Both Dr. Isaac and Najah made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit, taking the time to communicate clearly and ensure I understood each step of the process. Najah & Dr Isaac are wonderful. No complaints about the Way they work together with the quality of the work with their expertise… Star community health policies, however, are quite frustrating. Because of the anatomy of one of my teeth and my treatment plan, I need an 80 minute appointment… however, I was told that Dr. Isaac was "not allowed to do that" When I tried to schedule an 80 minute appointment at checkout. I’m pretty sure if the professional doctor in charge of my treatment plan says that a specific procedure requires 80 minutes to complete then I should be able to schedule an 80 minute appointment. What am I supposed to walk out after 45 minutes with half a crown? Unbelievable. Just another example of how "the volume" Of patients takes priority to the patient’s actual needs In a forever, broken healthcare system. If this wasn’t a Medicaid practice, they would Schedule the appropriate time for the appropriate work rather than trying to see as many patients as possible… But those of us who can’t afford or don’t have access to quality Healthcare get to pay the price.
