Dr. Poorman is Extraordinary ​Finding a dentist who truly 'gets' the needs of a non-verbal autistic child is often an uphill battle, but Dr. Poorman is in a league of his own. We traveled specifically to see him, and after our daughter’s recent surgery, I can say with certainty that we will continue seeing him as our main dentist. ​My daughter is 5 years old and non-verbal, which usually makes medical visits high-stress. However, Dr. Poorman and his team were incredibly accommodating, patient, and deeply respectful of her sensory and communication needs. He didn’t just treat her as a patient; he treated her with the specialized care and dignity she deserves. ​The surgery itself was handled with the utmost professionalism, and the level of comfort they provided both to her and to us as parents was unmatched. If you have a child with unique needs or disabilities, Dr. Poorman is the gold standard. He turned what could have been a traumatic experience into a seamless, successful surgery. We are so grateful for his expertise and his level of care! His office staff is also wonderful! A great team! Hard to find

Super friendly staff they're always great and welcoming! You really can't tell whether you're going to have a weight or not it differs every time sometimes we wait 5 minutes sometimes we wait an hour but I think that's to be expected anywhere you go dentists or doctors. They do their job well and take care of things quickly my son had three cavities and they were done within 30 minutes I was absolutely amazed! I would definitely recommend this place for your children it's never going to be a fun trip but they make it as comfortable for them as they can.

So far we love everything about this place they have done real good work on my son's teeth thank you.

Dr Norman Poorman is thorough on what’s going on with his patients. He offers alternatives to prevent cavities and suggestion to consider to keep teeth as healthy can be. He’s informative to newly parents and informs you on how often to have check ups and what is a good toothpaste to use during your child’s phases of childhood. Overall staff is very welcoming, polite, courteous, and friendly. They help answer any questions and keep you updated on what the next steps are and what will be happening on the visit. All together I think his team and himself go above and beyond to make sure patients get the best experience and outcome from their visit. Very kid friendly atmosphere.

Dr Paul & Kanya are amazing with children. If you have a child that is super anxious about the dentist these are the two people to see. They have put both my children at ease especially my younger one. Dr Paul and Kanya have a way with children that is truly admirable! It was amazing to see my son get his teeth clean with no fight and smiling leaving the dentist. I am so thankful to have found this office. Thank you!!

I'm not a fan of going to the dentist. However, my experience bringing my daughter here was unlike any other dentist i've been to. I love the open concept, how friendly the staff is. And the Dr. himself greeted us by name, which told me he looked at our file BEFORE approaching us. After the cleaning, Dr.Poorman himself walked us out, and gave us a tour of the place. It was the best dentist experience I could have wanted for my daughter. I would totally recommend this place for children.

I just switched dentist . Not because of the dentist he was great both of them but the hygienist Lilly was cruel to my 15 yr old daughter and dismissive to me and she acted angry when my daughter tried to tell her she was flossing and brushing to hard during her cleaning I stopped her but she ignored me and raised her voice to my child . Thats a no for me and disrespectful. My daughter was afraid everytime we went for a new visit and asked to make sure Lilly didn't serve us . Plus the phone operator doesn't listen I have to repeat my self at least 3 times when making an appointment or cancelation . I did report lilly behavior but no one seemed to care . I thank the dentist for all they did for my child but montoring employees like Lilly needs to be adddressed and more training on customer compassion . I'll pray for her to find a job she enjoys and to learn to be kind to children and their parents.
