I had a frustrating experience here. Pricing wasn’t clearly explained upfront, which made things confusing and felt a bit misleading. On top of that, pain management wasn’t handled well—I wasn’t given proper guidance or options for relief after the visit. Overall, the communication and transparency need serious improvement. I expected a more professional and patient-focused experience.

I just started going here earlier this year because they take my insurance. But I like them. They are easy to get in and friendly. I especially appreciate the way the got me in within 24 hours of calling about my permanent retainer falling off the week of Thanksgiving and only charging me an office visit to fix it.

New patients beware! The only reason I left my previous dentist was because of an insurance change, but scheduling with this office was a huge mistake. After taking time off of work (cool, I do it every 6 months for standard cleaning), the doctor took a solid hour and a half of checking my gums and a FULL-ON SALES/SCARE TACTIC...yup that's right, no standard cleaning like any normal person would expect. Apparently I need to go in every 4 months with this practice...even though I do regular cleanings and haven't had a cavity in at least 15 years (never any major work). Then I was told "we don't have time to clean your teeth." I've never experienced such an incompetent doctor before like Dr. Patel....and the front office schedules this knowing the patient won't be taken card of without a next visit for an actual cleaning. They must think people have have all the time in the world to come in while the nurse is being told "be sure to take more x-rays for insurance" so they can add an additional few thousand (plus out of pocket $2k for unnecessary visits). This office is scammy and I would highly recommend calling any other dental practice in Austin but them.

Came for my 2nd cleaning appt and Susan was great! Along with all the friendly staff this is a great place.

I've been going to Dr. Gerhardt for way too many years to count, he has kept my teeth health in shape. I referred my fiancé to him a few years ago, and he and his staff have transformed her smile through orthodontics and gum surgery. We're less than 2 months till the big day, and he has help her get and fine tune her beautiful smile. He has come in on his days off, on a Sunday too, called her after hours in a holiday weekend, and even provided a way to contact him directly to give updates as her teeth shift. I highly recommend him, his wonderful and caring staff who's totally invested in our big day too, and thankful for all they do to make it affordable and perfect.

I can’t say enough great things about this dental practice! From the moment I walk in, everyone I interact with is so friendly, laidback, and genuinely caring. They take their time, never rush, and make me feel completely at ease. It’s clear that they truly care about their patients, not just as customers but as people. One of the things I appreciate most is their conservative approach to dentistry. I never feel like they’re pushing unnecessary treatments—instead, they focus on what’s truly needed and educate me in a way that feels supportive, not like a lecture. Dr. Evans is my general dentist, and she’s incredibly kind, chill, and thoughtful in her care. For perio, I see Dr. Heinz, who thoroughly explained all my options and left me feeling informed and empowered to take the best care of my gums. Their hygienists are gentle and caring and match my energy. Beyond the great care, the office is so well-run. They remember my name, which is such a nice personal touch, and the billing department is always on top of things. They help me navigate my insurance so I’m never caught off guard, and I never feel like I’m left to figure things out on my own. And their pricing is so reasonable— way better than other practices I’ve been to! If you’re looking for a dental team that is down-to-earth, honest, and truly invested in your well-being, this is the place to go!
