Shoreline Dental Care of West Haven

This dental clinic is truly the best clinic in the West Haven area. Sue, the hygienist, has been taking care of me, and I highly recommend her. She educates patients on the importance of dental hygiene. The front-end staff are welcoming and guide patients on insurance coverage. The clinic is also willing to work with patients regarding the cost of treatment. The dentist does a wonderful job creating treatment plans.

The office is a well-oiled machine. The front desk staff and their hospitality (thank you Mikayla) is always positive. Dr. Fansiwala took great care in ensuring my teeth health are stellar and handled my procedure with patience and ease. Aliyah/Alyah also handles my cleaning with great care and ensures comfortability with a warm personality. The team and office made a huge impact in my trust for dental care and services with Shoreline. Thank you!!

My whole family, including our toddler has come here and enjoyed the experience. I interacted with multiple of the staff and everyone was great. Dr Fansiwala was very kind, answered many questions for me and explained things in great detail so that I left feeling better educated about my health needs. The cleaning by Alyah (bad with names hope I got it right!) was one of the easiest I’ve ever had too.

Suzanne has been the best person I have encountered in my entire dental experience. She makes you feel calm and talks through your anxieties to make you feel safe. I wish every hygienist could be like her

I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by my experience with this office. During my husband’s appointment, staff accessed and discussed my personal medical information even though I was not present, was not receiving treatment, and had not given consent for my records to be viewed or discussed. In addition to what I believe was a serious violation of patient privacy, comments were made about my appearance that were completely inappropriate and unprofessional. What made this even worse was the way the situation was handled afterward. I contacted the office directly in an attempt to address my concerns privately and give them an opportunity to respond appropriately. Instead, I felt dismissed, unheard, and as though the seriousness of the situation was minimized rather than properly acknowledged. Patients should be able to trust that their private medical information will be protected and that they will be treated with professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and I feel others should be aware before choosing this office.

Unfortunately, I am considering changing my Dentist due one too many cancellations on their behalf. In March 2026, after confirming my cleaning via text and phone call (2 days prior) the office called a couple hours prior to my appt to cancel, due to the hygienist being out sick. It was very inconsiderate on their behalf, although they try to validate me, it was invalidating to say "we can NOT control someone being out sick." So hopefully going forward there will be more than 1 hygienist in the office, to accommodate the needs of the business and/or their patients. In addition, Supervisor Isaac lacks customer service; argumentative, condescending and rude. However, prior to most recent events, the staff usually are pleasant and there were no issues in the quality of work.

I always have a good experience with Shoreline Dental Care since my first visit thanks to Valerie who referred me and has been doing my Orthodontic treatment. Very cleaned and well organized office! I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality dental care!!!
