This was the most comprehensive INITIAL dental exam I have had in my life. The thoroughness of the hygienist and the dentist is unmatched. Irene (hygienist) was attentive and continued to ensure the cleaning was going okay especially with my sensitivity and anxiety of the dentist- so much so, she stopped often to check on me and agreed on hand signals if it was too much. Dr. Butani examined my mouth and took notes of my palate, my uvula, my jaw, and my bite. I learned things I didn’t know about my mouth! Thank you to everyone there for your kindness, compassion, and dedication to my dental healthy and anxiety! I highly recommend this office for your dental needs!

I have never ever had a bad experience at Totem Lake Family Dentistry. I’ve had multiple different hygienists for cleanings and all were so talented and kind. I even had my first fillings here. I was so nervous but the staff took amazing care of me. They explained each step and continuously checked to see if I was comfortable. After the first one, I was confident going in for the second one. They were so gentle and careful, I felt nothing. Going to the dentist can be scary, they definitely recognize that and do a fantastic job of taking amazing care of their patients. Not to mention they just do amazing dental work!

The staff is wonderful, very caring and never let me feel bad for neglecting my dental care for so long. Changes are explained in advance and clearly so there's no surprises. Great place, truly feel cared for here.

Best Dentistry hands down. We can’t express enough how lovely, professional and thoughtful the staff are. Both of us and our kiddos have been going to these amazing ladies since before we had kiddos and we have all been going and enjoying our visits. The kids absolutely adore Kara and ask for her by name for every visit!
