Tim Simpson, DDS

December 23. I was driving from Dallas to New Mexico for the Christmas holidays. On my way out of Dallas, one of my back molars broke in half, leaving a jagged piece of metal filling stabbing into the back part of my tongue. The pain was intense! I was planning on overnighting in Abilene and knew that I would have to see a dentist in Abilene the NEXT DAY, Dec 24, or not be able to find a dentist til after the holidays. I called several dental offices in Abilene. No one could fit me in… and some were already closing. I was starting to panic. Finally one of the offices suggested that I call Dr Simpson. I called them and they were able to work me in early the next morning. Christmas Eve Day! They were so welcoming and nice. Dr Simpson took care of my dental emergency and got me on my way to NM for the holidays. I live in Dallas, and have recently lost my own beloved dentist to an illness. I plan to become a patient of Dr Simpson. For the kind of thoughtful care I received that Christmas Eve Day, I will happily drive to Abilene Texas!

I went to see Dr. Tim Simpson today after I had a filling came out of one of my tooth I have seen this gentleman for over a year and just had a tooth pulled by him about three weeks before he was extremely rude yelling at me very confrontational, and even the day that I had my tooth pulled by him had to wind up at the oral surgeon to have it continue to have it removed and today he acted like I didn’t belong in his office. I said in the waiting room for over an hour and asked the simple question did I need to reschedule? He came in. He looked at my tooth mumble something and never explain to me what he plan to do or what he wanted to do, and if that was what I was wanting to have done, when the person came in with the paperwork, tell me what I owed and how they were gonna check my insurance. I said I’d like another option. I don’t necessarily want a bridge would not recommend very hardheaded and not professional at all.

I absolutely love the people here! My family and I have been going to Dr. Simpson for over 10 years. They are always willing to work with our crazy schedules and very attentive to our needs. They show genuine concern and take very good care of us. No one particularly enjoys going to the dentist but when they are as kind and friendly as the staff here it makes it better!

I went to my appointment thinking my teeth were going to be cleaned and instead I got 30 plus pictures and x-rays of my teeth. I was told my actual teeth cleaning would be on another day and require another hour or so of my time. As I am leaving I was given a quote to pay extra to have my teeth cleaned when my policy covers teeth cleaning. I also found out that they are not in network for my insurance company, which they knew they were not and failed to tell me so prior my appointment. To add more insult to injury, I was told by Pamela I would have to pay another $15 for the pictures and x-rays they charged me (another $55) and my insurance (80%) for already. All they are doing is **E-MAILING** the x-rays and pictures to my new Dentist, Dr. Gore. In case your wondering, my new dentist did not charge me extra and cleaned my teeth the same day I went. How about that? Stay away from here unless you like getting ripped off and/or wasting your time.

I would recommend Abilene Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry to anyone. As a person who absolutely hates going to the dentist, this place made it much more bearable! Very friendly staff, clean environment and informative dentist. I felt very comfortable and will not mind making my next appointment.

I have used Dr Simpson for the last 20 years. I cannot say enough about how friendly, awesome and amazing he AND his staff are. Let's face it, dental care is expensive anywhere you go.......and you pretty much, like anything else in life, get exactly what you pay for. I would rather pay a little extra for exceptional care.....I mean that in EVERY ASPECT.......than go to a "cheaper" dentist office.....and get just that....CHEAP CARE. He, Dr Simpson, has always been friendly, puts you at ease, makes you smile even when you don't want to...lol. His staff is the exact same way....and they are ALL very professional and damn good at what they do. Anyone that says otherwise is just......well, ya know. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM AND HIS OFFICE!!!!!! AMAZING CARE AND PEOPLE!!!!
